I walked in the dental practice in pain from a bruising in my right back tooth. I took a day off because of the pain and came in to see a dentist. I explained the problem and the receptionist told me "We have nothing today but I can offer you an appointment either tomorrow 11:40am or next week Thursday.” I can’t take a second day off. And I couldn’t wait another week. Their website states you "can drop in and see us". Which would make you think that walking in at 11am on a Thursday you can see someone. Clearly not. Why are dentists not available for walk-ins, and appointments? Or blocks kept free for walk-ins? That’s issue one. Issue two. The receptionist didn't smile. Made no small talk. Showed ZERO empathy. And treated me like cattle that needed to be shoved in. No quick fact find was conducted to see if it was necessary to come in. Or it could be solved with prescription. The forefront of her mind was only booking me an appointment. She didn't put the customer first. The customer service level was so poor that I left quite upset. Anyway I called 20 minutes later to cancel the appointment I made, and comically I was put on hold for FIVE MINUTES!!!!. I couldn’t see a dentist on the day for five minutes. Lastly, there was a listening to your comments card on the receptionists table. But if they didn’t take me seriously when I was right in front of them, I doubt they’d take my feedback seriously. The entire interaction was joyless, impersonal, and transactional. I wanted relief from pain, and I left more annoyed by the customer service instead.

I booked in with a dentist who I was assured could handle anxious patients .This could not have been further from the truth ! I was in a lot of pain during my appointment and she had the cheek to get annoyed with me for wincing in pain as she performed a filling . After 1 injection had not sufficiently numbed me she told me she could onlly give me one more injection and if that didnt work then I would have to make another appointment because she couldnt continue the treatment. Her manner was rude, abrupt and cold .She had zero empathy for my pain and I was crying throughout the procedure. DO NOT COME HERE !!
