I would give John Alsop zero stars if I could! My husband use to be seen and attend appointments with him and it is just a conveyor belt! He was made to feel uncomfortable with his arrogant remarks – he speaks to you as if you are a naughty child and my husband has seen him be a rude bully to the nurses and receptionists - which should not have come into play in a professional setting. After he went to another dentist his treatment was incomplete and was not up to the standard compare with previous dentists.
John Alsop has no experience and they only want your money. His new dentist had to redo teeth because John did not "protect the nerve" after he put a big filling in - he had nonstop pain until it was redone! He finally decided not to go back.

I am a very nervous patient with a needle phobia. I was very surprised that there was a section on the form even for adults for anxiety issues to be taken into account and the dentist I had was wonderfully kind and reassuring. Before now I’d only had one dentist my entire life, but having moved a tad out of range of her I was apprehensive in finding someone else. Wonderful job, lovely dental staff.

Dentist is good but the head receptionist is rude and looks down on paying NHS patients and thinks she is better then anyone els I would not recommend if u want friendly service

We had appointments cancelled 3 times.
Reason "beyond control" when ask why they said dentist of sick.
How can be of sick when cancelled 3 times and 2 weeks before the appointment.

all night i have pain,try to get emergency appoinment i call 3x early morning from 8-8:48 morning but the phone engaged.then some one answer telling me i should call 8 in the morning.i cant argue to her i have so much pain to talk.this receptionist not acceptable the attitude.i will not call if not emergency.i need to ask my friend that he can ring for me.otherwise i can fit in.
