Good selection of tools, wide range, and plenty of choices across price ranges for each type of item. Plenty of brands as well as in house rebadged stuff. Prices are good for most items somewhere between the internet and the orange and blue UK competitors. The fact I can walk in and pick up decent brands, and everything i need in one place makes it worth while. The tool section is weird though, it works like a separate store with a single till, and you have to pay for tool purchases before going round the rest of the store, and end up carrying your purchases separately instead of all together in a basket like any sane shop. The sooner they get rid of that crazy idea the better. I can see why its an anti-theft measure, however I'm pretty sure they didnt do it in the NZ stores i've been in it seems like they are saying we don't really trust our UK customers. Overall its a great store and a welcome replacement for the B&Q it replaced.
Amazing. Got loads of help choosing the right paint. All mixed up very quickly. You should see the smokers they sell! Time to get saving for the spring!
Good range of DIY , household and electrical items. Mostly, reasonable prices. Very helpful and friendly staff.
Similar prices to B&Q but their customer service beats them hands down. Their knowledge might be slightly lacking but they more than make up for it with enthusiasm. Every time a member of staff walked past me they asked if there was anything they could help with. I had an issue with something I purchased and there were no quibbles what so ever and sorted it for me immediately. Even if the price was slightly more, I would use them every time now.
Very helpful staff and made a real fuss if my young daughter, so that was excellent. However they didn't have a drill bit in stock I needed, and prices on special offer leaflets we're no where to be seen in store. Stock prices were just average, Screwfix still far cheaper.
Spent over £700 in the first of our shopping trips here for our summer house. The staff were great! Really lovely, kind and helpful. Highly recommend. Great value for money. Even got a teddy for the kids!
Not much different to the old B&Q it replaced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All the hand tools and power tools were in one area. The seamed a bigger choice of power and hand tools,that have seen in a long time. Quite a few air tools,too. Not a bad experience,no luck finding products on there website . Worth a visit just for the tool section.
Great shop ... prices are just the beginning
Staff friendly, prices good. Range of products is not as good as other places. Shop layout is a bit odd too. On the plus side the sausage tent outside is amazing, the smell is too tempting to say no to.
The customer service is excellent you always get welcomed into the store where ever u go there are staff happy to help and come to you if you can’t find something. Second thing is price there loads less then b & q eg there decking paint branded not on offer £12.99 b & q for same thing £24 wicks £30 ??? They also do the best to match the other big names. Also unlike the other big ones staff want to help and not just fob you off or hide. I recommend everyone to try it out
