It's ok here, the ale was pretty poor though and was a little pricey. It's pretty much standard chain pub fair. Food is standard boil in the bag stuff you'd expect from this sort of pub. Staff were the usual uninspired disinterested student types. The carpet was nice though if you really stare at it for long enough you can trip out a bit and imagine your somewhere mildly more interesting. There is a nice park next door to it so it could be handy for alcoholics who might need to drink whilst supervising their children in the playground (you may need to sneak the drinks out but you can always play it by ear) just remember to be a responsible drunk and don't leave glasses in the play area.

Must have been an "off night", staff seemed stressed and rushed off their feet. Food was inexpensive and passable. Nothing to write home about. Hot drink machine not working, and some mixed drinks unavailable. Went for someone's birthday, and on the whole we found it disappointing.
