My friend and I had dinner at Bukowski last Friday. We had reserved a table and arrived early enough to avoid the masses. Had half a rack of ribs to share as a starter and the taste was great. For mains, we had the soft shell crab burger, the Californian and chilli fries. The burgers were nice, but nothing special. There wasn't a lot of chilli on the chilli fries and the cheese was not melted. Had the Waffle of Death as well as the chocolate pot for dessert. The chocolate pot was very nice and I liked it better than the Waffle. I wouldn't come back for the burgers or fries, but might come back to try the other meat.
It was a great dinner. The service was great. Stuart was so friendly and helpful. 72 hours slow cooked beef ribs are highly recommended. It's just stunning. Starters are delicious. The place has nice decoration and vibe. Prices are really reasonable. Highly recommended!
Nice place with lovely food. Came in around 19 o'clock and it was slow so getting a table was no problem. The staff was very nice. The food was good. Had a burger and buffalo wings as a starter. The wings were amazing! Strong and good flavours. The burger was ok, big but a little bit dry. Will be coming back for those wings!
Was walking around looking for somewhere to eat and am glad I stumbled upon this place! I ordered the Chesapeake: deep-fried soft shell crab with avocado, rocket, poached eggs, and Hollandaise. The crab was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It also had a bit of a kick to it, which was really nice and balanced out the heavier Hollandaise. The Hollandaise was a little too overpowering but didn't stop me from enjoying my meal. The orange juice was freshly squeezed! Everything was nicely presented, service was attentive.
We came at transition between breakfast and lunch menu, and we ordered lunch. Food took quite long, but the manager came over and apologized, and gave us free 500ml beer bottle. All the servers were nice and it was the best service I've had in London only about 6 places so far. If we were here again I'd come back.
Food was good once they got it right, we were served burnt waffles and over done poached eggs. Service was great, even though they were very busy.
Fantastic American diner type brunch spot in central London! Food servings are generous and prices too.
The dinosaur bone was delicious. I also tried the burger and it's one of the best in London. Be careful there are many fried onions.
The food is delicious! Staff are friendly. Having Yakima red on tap is always a bonus
Nice open space. Good service. Average food. But did the job.
