I had a very positive experience whereby I acquired ingredients for a play-dough recipe as an activity for my nieces whom I was looking after. One of the main ingredients were missing from the store and I asked a store attendant if they continued to supply it. Unfortunately it was out of stock however, the kind store attendant and who I think was the manager supplied me with a slightly altered recipe that had the ingredients in stock. They saved the day and I had very happy and content girls playing with their play-dough whilst their parents were at work. Thank you

It's a local shop so prices are a little higher but has a fair selection and fresh produce every day.

It's a Budgens. It sells everything you'd expect of a local supermarket. It always feels well stocked. Add to that loads of free parking and great staff, then it's hard to deduct any stars.

This is the best stocked local store I have ever seen! They even have a reasonably well stocked American food section. I had to pop in to get some emergency meat for an impromptu BBQ and they had a decent selection and I managed to get what I needed. The staff are always cheerful and open tills when there is a queue. Definitely the best local store if you live in the Great Ashby area of Stevenage.
