I have never written a bad review before, but felt the need to for this place. Horrendous customer service, first of all tried to drop off an Amazon parcel online it said I could just drop it off, but they said I’d need to wrap it and tried to get me to buy sellotape from their shop to do it, instead I just went to a shop in town who happily took it. The next experience I was picking up a parcel and they said I’d have to go and look in the blue bag at the back their job, not mine. Overall ridiculously expensive, I wouldn’t want to give a penny of my cash to this place and their attitude.
The lady in the shop is really rude, is always on the phone, and throws a bag at you. Plus I've also found they have been removing the best before dates !! I also have questioned then about it, but there still doing it !! I've just had another cancer operation, and can't take chances on getting ill again !! So I have to be careful and check dates etc
Really small shop to be honest and it's very hard to pick stuff up, went earlier and everything is so overpriced and theres a women who works at the till who is always talking on the phone and constantly isnt doing anything. The other worker who is a man is very kind and sweet hes the reason for the extra star but honestly it needs a bit of work. It's very good to go to when you don't want to travel far.
Went in on the Monday crate of beer £10 Went in 2 days later the same crate £15 Toilet rolls pack of 8 £10 when pandemic was happening, and also hand sanitizer he was charging £10 for a very small pot, when its £1 in town!!! Never going back
Never felt such a burden in a store before! I had to send two parcels and the guy made me feel like it was an inconvenience to him. Even tutting when my code wouldn't load to scan. Guy followed me aroud the store as if I was going to nick something. Both staff seemed like they didn't want to be there. The place is cluttered and over priced. Brought two cans and a scratch card before I was told there was a minimum spend of five pounds and that I couldn't use the scratch card within the minimum spend I had to buy something else in the store to equate to a fiver then add on the scratch card. No smiles no hellos no goodbyes no have a nice day. Defiently will not be going back! Their customer service is absolutely shocking! Don't spend your money in there! One star because I couldnt go any lower!
Avoid at all costs. Once price on the shelf another price at the till. They have a bad habit of purposely over charging at the till. Scumbag move on their part. The little fat lady is rude. New management need to re evaluate their trading practices. Will be reporting to trading standards
Most staff are rude and make you feel unwelcome. I shop here because it is a convenient location for last moment essentials. But try to avoid.
A truly stunning establishment. One of the highlights of my day is visiting Best Supermarket as they have so many useful things for sale. Where else could you buy blue shoelaces, a five pack of haircombs and a set of cheap water-pistols all from the same place on a Sunday evening? Thanks Best Supermarket - you've earned a special place in my heart
Went to the shop to do a Hermes return, never again. Shop lady was so rude and unhelpful. Left feeling very angry. Avoid if you can!
I try to use this shop as little as possible but occasionally I need to pop in to grab something I forgot on the weekly shop, everytime I go in there the staff are miserable and seem like they don't want to be there or you to be in the shop. The shop looks outdated and it's very cluttered. I have also dropped a parcel off and they act like it's a massive inconvenience for them and if that's how they feel then they shouldnt offer that service.
