Bryn darland surgery Coedpoeth drs absolutely disgusting the reseponist speaks to you with a horrible attitude and they have failed me. I'm not really one to publically complain, but I can't wrap my head around this surgery.nnI moved to Wrexham from south Wales so I registered at Bryn Darland as it's my local surgery.nnThe consultant who I was under in south Wales wrote to Bryn Darland and myself explaining that, because I had moved from their catchment area, I was discharged from their care. However, I should make an appointment with my new GP Bryn Darland to request further tests as there were slight abnormalities. Pretty simple to understand I'd say. Firstly, Bryn Darland suggested they hadn't received such letter. I thought to myself 'fair enough' even though I'm sure they're probably available digitally on my records. Took them the letter which they took a copy of and got told to wait for someone to get in touch. I did just this only for someone from the surgery to then message me asking when I'd moved away from Wrexham. I mean, come on??nnI have a repeat prescription which they asked for a copy of when I signed up. I got told that because I had moved, it would take time around a month for my records to arrive from my previous GP. Again, fair enough. I checked the app after around 8 weeks and only one item was listed. I contacted them asking where the other items were, only to be asked 'what other items? We weren't aware of anything else?' Why take a copy of my prescription in the first place then? And again, surely it's all digitally available, too?nnI've been waiting for blood tests as instructed by my previous consultant only to have my appointment cancelled twice because of 'staff sickness'. I mean, it would take someone all of 5 minutes to draw blood but I've been waiting since the middle of the year and cancelled for weeks at a time. The receptionist even got a bit defensive because I started to become a little frustrated. In fairness, she did give me an alternative option to see if there was availability, but having checked, their appointments didn't suit because I had already made plans around the previous appointments you keep making and cancelling.nnI know mistakes happen and staff get sick, but look at it from my perspective. I think you need to sharpen up a touch.nnI did see one of the doctors once, though. And she was lovely.

I've been Struggling to get an Appointment for around 7 weeks at a time that suits as I work Away . Got my Appointment 2.45 . I phoned at 2.30 to say I be 5 mins late as stuck in traffic on By pass Hands Free. Got there at 2.50 Stood Behind 2 in the Que. When I Got to the Window to book in it was now 2.55 . Dr Can't see you Now as your Late. So yes I was 5 mins Late. I Phoned at 2.30 to explain I was gonna be 5 mins Late. No Empathy What So Ever. How the Hell Do people Like this Receptionist actually Get a job Like this Dealing With Poorly Sick or Dying People. An She Got no Medical Background at all. An she said that Not Me. During our Heated Conversation. I'm Beyond Belief Right Now. The Nurse Was Awesome Last time as Were the Doctors. But I'm Sure this Could have been Rectified if She Could have Been Bothered to Swap me like She Did when I phoned to say I be 5 mins late. Ide traveled 45 minutes To this Appointment. Joke Of a Place lately.
I have definitely had some negative experiences at this doctors surgery. There have been times where I was rushed and had issues dismissed that just got worse. Recently I have been seen to in a timely manner and have been treated with kindness and understanding.nnI wish that they would’ve let me know that I can email them so I didn’t have to battle with myself for weeks where I usually ended up giving up and never calling them. You can find it on their website and it’s made everything so much easier for me. I really appreciate that they’ve been understanding of the fact that phone calls can be an absolute nightmare for me due to my anxiety and autism.nnI’ve seen Doctor Pamela a few times, she is really lovely and although going to the doctors is still a struggle, the fact that she’s been understanding and kind has helped me a great deal.nnUnfortunately, it seems like getting an appointment can still be pretty challenging for everyone else. My mother is usually told that they only book appointments in the morning for that day. You either call at 8 or fill out a form on their website that you can only fill out around 7-9am but you may end up waiting weeks for an appointment to be made for you.
