Cracking pub. Smoking area which is covered outside. Outside seating area too. Very spacious inside with lots of tables and seats. Great food.with a wide selection of choices including vegetarian. As long as wine menu too. Local beers on tap. Plenty of screens to watch all sports on them.toilets although quite small there are enough and they are clean. A pool table at the rear of the bar surrounded by a barrier so not to get in the way of passers by. What more can you ask for

Great. Love the new decor and the good choice of layers and proper beers. Food has improved but then it was always good.

Enjoyed a large Glass of red and a few games of pool. Great value meal, delicious.

Good to watch sport but can get busy particularly during the rugby. Decent selection of beers and looks better after the refurbishment.

Cheff cant really cook, waited 40 minutes for 3 meals, i had steak, new potatoes and colslaw, steak was rare and evan sent it back to cook a little longer but still came back rare, new potatoes were cold, butter wouldnt melt on them. Jam rolly polly crumble, theres nother crumble about it.
