The staff in the building are very professional in handling the COVID situation in terms of social distancing measures. They are also very friendly and went out of their ways to help me when I had to wait outside for the post office to open. Very polite and respectful. Really recommend this branch. Well done guys!!
Excellent customer service, especially to the elderly and vulnerable. People saying they rip people off clearly don’t know about Royal Mail price increases every March hahaha, everything is spot on They handled the COVID-19 situatiom extremely well, even offered masks for very cheap for £1.50 when they are up to £5 elsewhere, and allowed people to just cover their faces if they didnt want to buy one. All the bad reviews are from inpatient people who will be blaming them for the circumstances, but they handled it as good as ever.
I am not from Leeds and I went there to post my instruments. The person was the best post office cashier I have ever met, friendly, helpful, kind. Wow, I wish every post office employee would be like him, he just brightened our day ! Thanks for this outstanding customer service !
I'm really puzzled by the reviews, and why the overall is still negative, as when you read them, most of the comments are mostly positive. And quite rightly so: I have been going to this post office regularly, as the other post office in my neighbourhood is actually really bad and they are every time lovely! Really friendly, fast, and with attention to not overcharge you! Really unfair reviews, for a wonderful service!!!
Now, I don't know if the staff have changed since the post office moved location, but these reviews don't ring true for my experience at all! I went in this morning having no idea how the hell I was going to post a yoga mat that was too big for all the different bags available, the guy there - Shaheen - came to the rescue and was so helpful. He gave me a hand pulling everything together and I was in a bit of a rush - which he also appreciated - I just ended up being overwhelmingly grateful to him. Thank you Shaheen!!
Well, I am going to confound all the reviews on here and tell you that I just called the PO and the gentleman who answered was helpful and courteous and answered my query - which was whether I could send a parcel to the Post Office for my son who lives nearby to collect as a courier or ParcelForce may deliver when there is no one at home. So I may have to review again if the reality is different, but so far I cannot fault them.
My partner just loves this post office and will go to no other.. I think staff certainly have a very idiosyncratic approach to services - not your daily grind type at all! I am amazed how they offer customers advice on all sorts of things, and it certainly is impossible to pay a penny too much in there. In any case, each time I walk out again, I notice that I am smiling.
I'm surprised by the previous evaluations! It's really fast service office and they have correct reception. Even my mail arrived before the time to southern Europe. I do not see where is the problem! Going to post office is to send a mail not expect to be greeted as a king!
'Customer experience' is not a term that the owners/staff at this post office are familiar with. Often met with a sour, blunt manner. PO franchises are a way of life, if you don't like it, get out. Also leaving parcels piled up on the customer side of the window to later be gathered doesn't exactly give an air of security about leaving your parcel with them. Personally I will be avoiding this one and using the Headingley PO instead
Just so you know, don't order anything through amazon by Local Collect to be picked up here. The manager has decided he isn't accepting them and will send any delivery back as undelivered. He fobbed me off to speak to Royal Mail and they claim he is still contracted to accept these parcels, but is just refusing to do so. Shockingly unprofessional, with no concern for customers. If I could give less than one star I would.
