Our newest restaurant just had to be here, at the heart of Liverpool’s shopping district, in one of the most exciting cities in the country and one that holds the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Having spent over 30 years in the customer service sector, I know how hard it can be to deliver exceptional service, but the young lady that served us tonight did just that. The food was good, although my partner thinks the chef needs some guidance from me on the shepherds pie, sorry, but she is bias, and I do make a mean shepherds pie, and the lobster linguine a was spot on. However the food is not the only thing that makes a great evening a fantastic evening. All the staff were rushed off their feet and working hard, but the young lady that served us did this with a smile pretty much consistently, and that’s why I tipped her so highly. To deliver that kind of service, in my opinion, is going above and beyond, and if I was still in the customer service industry, I would be looking to poach her for my own company, definitely went above and beyond in my opinion, and that kind of service deserves recognition.
Brown's restaurant is lovely, the interior is very nice. We arrived around 9pm on a Wednesday, it was quiet. Poppy our waitress was lovely & very helpful. The food was very very goodFood: 4/5

We were a walk in, we seen the weekday Lunchtime menu stating £18 for 2 courses. Menus were on the tables, No separate menu for the huge sign at the entrance. We ordered our food, wasn't very happy with our Mains they looked great but taste was lacking and mine was over powered by onion. To find at the end of our Meal our food cost £60 and not the £36 we were expecting. Out total bill came to £97 with a glass of wine costing £10 and change for a small glass.
Tried this upmarket restaurant for lunch while on a day trip. It's in a handy central location behind the John Lewis department store. Lots of outside tables. Inside, the decor is elegant and modern. Lovely colour scheme, lots of plants, subdued lighting, and a piano near the bar. There's a variety of seating that includes comfy armchairs and banquettes. The staff were courteous and welcoming, and I was shown to a table straight away. Unfortunately, it was too high for me, but that was no problem as a very nice waitress found me a more suitable table close to the window. I was brought a glass of iced water to drink with my meal. A varied and tempting choice on the lunch menu, including vegetarian and vegan options, and it was useful to see the number of calories shown next to each dish. Opted for the two courses for £17.95. Had smoked haddock fishcakes served with a little pot of lemon hollandaise, crispy kale and yellow heirloom tomatoes. The chunky parmesan and truffle chips cost extra. Well prepared and presented, lovely flavours, ample portions. The only thing I could fault was that the food was more warm than hot. The Bramley apple and blackberry crumble, with stem ginger ice-cream, was deliciously spicy. Good quality wine too, and a hot latte to finish. Friendly and attentive service from Jason throughout my meal. Overall an enjoyable lunch experience.

I can honestly say this was the best meal of my life. I didn’t want it to end. Myself and my husband had the surf and turf for two. It was my first time trying lobster. My gosh did I choose the right place. The steak was cooked to perfection, the lobster was amazing Lisa who served us was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble for her, she has amazing people skills and has a beautiful personality. The drinks were fantastic! Honestly I don’t think I have had so much enjoyment out of a meal before. Please thank the chef for us. Best date night ever!
The terrace of Browns is a perfect spot for some good old-fashioned people watching, since it's located in the shopping heart of Liverpool. The surrounding buildings provide some shelter against the wind, and yet you can still enjoy the sunshine. If you've done your sundance, of course. I ordered myself the Classic Chicken Ceasar Salad, which turned out to be one the best I've ever had. I also had two drinks. Don't judge haha, it was a bank holiday, plus they just sounded too good... And they were! The champagne bellini and very bery martini look festive and are a party to your taste buds. On top of all of that, the staff was friendly and skilled. Next visit to Liverpool, I'll definitely come back.
We were served by Lee and he did the best job of looking after me and my mum for my birthday! Nothing was too much fuss and he went above and beyond for us! Even giving us a complimentary birthday dessert! browns you need to either promote Lee or give him a bonus because without him I really don’t think our experience would have been as good as it was! Thanks Lee
