Fantastic place!! The store has plenty of choice for garden & house plants and they have some really nice inspirational displays around the store and in the large covered outdoor area as well.
The Cafe has been very good on all the occasions we have visited and I don't think the prices of the tea/coffee etc are too bad really. I've never had food there (other than cakes!!) so I can't really comment on that- but the service each time has been good.
The houseplants that I have from here are super healthy and some of the orchids for sale are outstanding!! ;)
I suppose some of the prices are a little higher than elsewhere but they seem to have sales on most of the times I have been so not too bad really. Also I personally don't mind paying more money for the plants when they are this healthy- they must have a different supplier than some of the other places I have bought from.
The mini railway here is also fantastic and both my daughters really enjoyed the trip around the centre on the back of the train. All the staff we have come across are also extremely pleasant and you get the feeling that they are not working here simply because 'it's a job'.

Visited today and certainly the plant selection and quality seems to have improved. Ate an afternoon tea special with friends, using the BOGOF offer. Enjoyed but glad we hadn't paid the full price.

A massively improved garden centre with a lovely cafe offering a good choice. The coffee is especially enjoyable. Sunday lunch looks excellent and at £10.60 including dessert is very fair.
But the plants still seem less consistently healthy and are sometimes over priced.

A lot of money has been spent here. A large car park.  Lovely flowers and plants. A new restaurant.  Sunday roasts £8.95.  Very reasonable.

Took a  grandson on train,very impressed time and view. Lovely ,quaint train station. So much to look @ with 'time forgotten 'train station signs.and lots of toy trains to buy! The restaurant was lovely ,clean and modern lots of seating The food look delicious. We had scones and tea,top marks .will definitely visit again,thankyou 👍😀
