Some nice drivers but most 638 drivers regularly skip stops between Leas Green and Chislehurst Sainsbury’s even though it says they’re supposed to stop there, even if someone indicates they still go past the bus stop without stopping, which I find quite rude! However 261 drivers are nice but please tell 638 drivers not to do that as I’ve even seen a 638 which wasn’t even packed and I put my hand out but the driver went straight past me
I used to work here and had done for two almost years. It is a great place to work, friendly staff and whilst out on the road driving our busses, all the drivers continue to provide exceptional customer service. We try our hardest to be as helpful as we can and if we can not personally correctly answer your query, we will try to point you in the right direction!
I was not very happy with what I saw today on the 61 bus. A blind man got on the 61 at 3.43 pm. The bus driver would not lower the ramp for him. I ack him could you lower the ramp for him he just looked at me but the man was with someone. He find it hard to get him on the bus and the bus driver agen just looked at him the bus wss to high and he was away from the corb. I thing this is disgusting behaviour and I Will be telling more people about this and I mite call up the new shopper and talk to them about it he should be ashamed of him self doing that to someone I no any other driver would pot the ramp down and let him on
Not a particularly good employer. They like to "tick box's" but nothing is really sorted out. One pay rise in 6 years. Drivers are leaving this depot in droves. Long shifts minimum breaks. As long as the wheels go round that's all they care about .
Great place to catch your buses, located in between three main town centres Locks bottom, Orpington and Bromley.
Marvelous service. Left my hand bag on the Chartwell bus, returned me safe and sound. Thank you driver Nick
