came with friends for first time as was told was a good place to go.  Chips looked like they were 're heated from the day before . Had to ask for some fresh to be cooked. not one of us was happy with out meal and paid over forty pounds for the them . won't be returning any time soon.

We go there to take father-in-law out for dinner. Its reasonably price. Food is hot and delicious and lots of home made food too. Upstairs is for reservations and down is for come in on the hop!! Friendly staff lots of car space and a little area for kids. It's a lovely place

Pleasant restaurant with downstairs and upstairs seating and a bar with the kitchen upstairs. The staff are friendly and waiting on staff provide table service. Good pub food  cooked fresh to order. Would recommend this place to families and couples alike

First time here and can't fault it. Food is good quality and prices are great. Service was quick and very pleasant staff.
Will definitely be calling in again

My daughter and I stopped off here after spending the day hiking and walking around the reservation area right next door. The food was your standard gastropub fare but it was still delicious, and much welcomed after a day out in the cold. The atmosphere was calm, quiet and family friendly. The tables and floor were clean and well maintained and the staff were fast and efficient. We really enjoyed our visit here and would certainly visit again.
