Enjoy our Afternoon Tea either at our glamorous Tea Salon, Brigit's Bakery, in Covent Garden or on the move on our unique and hugely popular B Afternoon Tea Bus Tour... Or why not on the River Thames with our B Afternoon Tea Boat Tour? Another option is to enjoy Afternoon Tea at home, in the office or in the park with our B Afternoon Tea Delivery and B Afternoon Tea Picnic. Took the Queen’s platinum jubilee afternoon tea bus tour. Great service and experience. Well worth the price. The food was underwhelming though. Sandwiches weren’t very fresh and pastries were too sweet and just your basic cupcakes and cookies with a cute name. The scone was too dry and the clotted cream was like butter? Still though, shouldn’t have expected more for this price. The friendly service made up for it. Wish we sat on the top deck as the view from the first floor is not very good.
This place is absolutely fantastic. I came here after a relative bought me some vouchers for afternoon tea in the bakery itself. The staff were extremely attentive, kind and professional. The food was absolutely outstanding, and done to perfection. I particularly liked the cakes and the scone which was served warm. I went when they had the valentines theme, which looked absolutely great. I really liked the fact that they had afternoon teas that catered to different dietary preferences, such as vegan, gluten free and halal. I had the vegan one which was very nice. It would be good to see a dairy free option in the future. I would definitely come back here. Thanks for an amazing day!
The staff were really lovely. The food was completely fresh and very tasty. The drinks were a little sweet/sugary for “gin cocktails”. The actual tour bus was slightly disappointing. It was nicely decorated but our feedback is that it would have been nice if the staff had pointed out different sites as we passed by them to make it more of a tour. My friend and I felt without this, we could have been sat anywhere. When chatting away with friends/family it’s very easy to miss the famous sites. Price wise, it’s not much different to afternoon tea at the Ritz, F&M or the Shard. Having tried all of the above I felt unfortunately the B Bakery bus tour is a little overpriced. Otherwise, a pleasant evening.
Highly recommended afternoon tea experience. Food was all lovely. There are dietary options available to suit all requirements. Drink as much tea /coffee as you can handle with no loo on board. Tables set out so you weren't close to others. On board commentary of London landmarks. Unfortunately some roads were closed and we missed the front of Buckingham Palace but didn't spoil the experience. On board staff were excellent.
Went on the afternoon tea tour and absolutely LOVED IT!!! The sandwiches were so soft and savory. Pastries were a perfect amount of sweet, made with real whipped toppings and not that sugary frosting that I'm not a fan of. And the scones were so warm and yummy. I'm a fan of high tea and this is by far one of my faves. The tour guide shared great details as we cruised London for 1.5 hrs and the bus staff was simply great. The souvenir cup was a great add to the trip. What a fabulous experience! Highly recommend.
A lovely experience! We booked the Christmas afternoon tea bus tour, and had a lot of fun. The bus was decorated really cute and they played Christmas music as we drove through the town. The food was okay, and the desserts were very sweet. If you have a sweet tooth you’ll love it. The staff were all amazing as well. The only negative was the bus didn’t take us to as many sights as we would have liked. It mostly drove through the city. We would have liked to see the London eye, tower bridge or london bridge too.
Second time on the bus and again was lovely. First time was on the gay pride bus and this time we went on the Grinchmas bus and had a fabulous time! The staff were amazing; very attentive and the host was so enthusiastic making the journey & experience so memorable. London looked so beautiful with all the Christmas lights and seeing them from the bus was spectacular. It is great that they accommodate for different dietary requirements- one of us being vegan and the other vegetarian, however make sure you check as one of the items on the veggie tray was fish so not vegetarian hence state allergens if booking. We had a great selection of options, very delicious savoury and sweet foods. A little let down by the vegan scone and first drink being cold however if I told staff the drink could have been rectified. 10/10 will be booking again for another fun occasion.
What a wonderful delight the Afternoon Tea Bus Tour was. Booking was easy and we had our assigned table. Everything was nicely decorated and the food was of high quality. Staff were very friendly. The guided tour around the city of London was well moderated. It was a fantastic treat for all of us. The scones were fantastic !!!
Had the best time today on the bus tour! The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious and everything tasted so fresh. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The lovely Irish lady doing the tour was brilliant. So knowledgeable and funny at the same time! We had a sing song of sweet Caroline at the end to top it all off : I would highly recommend!!
My family and I total of 8, multi-generational took the Jubilee-themed afternoon tea bus tour. The bus was well-decorated with little flags, teddy bears and more. The tables were set with plates of savoury and sweet items. We enjoyed the food while the bus drove past many of London's iconic sights. Someone was providing live commentary and providing many facts about the Queen, the royal family and the iconic sights. Great service was provided by Cameron, our server. We disembarked with the souvenir mugs very beautiful! and little boxes of pasteries and sandwiches which we were unable to finish. This is an experience which is different from the typical afternoon tea at a hotel or restaurant and our family thoroughly enjoyed it.
