It was a trip through the history of toys and games, complete with creepy dolls freaky puppets, and practical toys that I wish were still in production.
One of Brighton's finest attractions, it is my toddlers favourite place, packed with a huge offering of toys from days gone by, the quality of what is on offer is only shadowed by the awesome staff who are always on hand to tell you about the many treasures. Well worth a visit.
It is a very traditional museum with a lot of the historical items displaying in it. However, I don’t have time to pay a visit and therefore just have a look at the Sales Counter....., still I find it is very interesting to view the items there. Let’s share some of the photos for you to have a glance.
What can I say? Coming from London I was expecting the museum to be free but once I paid the entrance fees, you can understand the amount of work that's been put to collect all these toys over the years. You are given a list of characters to hunt for which makes it very exciting. Will definitely visit again next time.
Great little museum. Highlight of our trip to Brighton and a fantastic way to spend an hour. Also happy to report we found all the Lego minifigs and am still wearing the sticker with prize.
Fascinating little museum crammed with toys, mostly up to about the 1950s era, but some from later.
Amazing little museum under Brighton Station. Fantastic range of toys ranging from the early 1900s! A must see!
A must see visit if you are in Brighton! Taking you back to yesteryear with an array of collector toys and scaled models. Loved the working train village, love the attention to detail. Highly recommended for any age!
