My 5 month old child isn't well. I manage to get an out of hours appoint to see the doctor. 5.25pm. Traffic in Brierfield was horrendous, and it took us an age to find the place. Google describes it as 'Brierfield Medical Centre' and the number it gave me was none existent. When I finally found the place it's actually called 'Brierfield Health Centre'. The lighting on the sign is ridiculous. What kind of doctors allow for a sign that isn't even lit up in the dark. When we arrived we were 10 minutes late due to the traffic and the poorly lit sign. We finally get inside to be told 'the doctor waited a bit but she's gone now. Try ringing 111 after half past 6.' Thanks for the advice, but try not to look so smug next time. It's really nice of the doctor to wait 10 whole minutes before deciding a 5 month old isn't worth waiting any longer. Will now avoid the place like the plague. Also, the picture on Google is of houses. Bravo.

No one ever answers the phone, if you try and get an appointment by going there at 8am you get arsy and non caring receptionist the place is an actual joke and the people there have no respect for the patients.

Markfort couldnt have described it better. And the receptionists speak to you as if theyr unwillingly doing you a favour by checking and giving ypu an appointment if they ever do

Can never get an appointment when you want one and the GPs don't care. Have to wait 20 minutes after your appointment time to be seen and then all they do is sit there and Google what's wrong with you. Well I could have saved time and effort and Googled it myself!!!
