Just love this place, and a great way to arrive and wander down to the town for a bag of chips by the river followed by an ice cream and then back home on the steam train, perfect day out

The Severn Valley Railway is 16 miles of Heritage Railway extending from Kidderminster to Bridgnorth. It passes through some lovely stations, beautiful countryside and follows the river Severn for most of the way. Bridgnorth Station is clean and tidy, dog friendly and all the staff are polite and helpful. There's plenty of chances to see and experience the golden age of steam and it's well worth a visit.

The nice end of the Severn Valley Railway. Bridgnorth Station is the jewel of the line.
