Only one girl in the till at Sunday lunch time so queues were quite big. Got to the carvery counter to be given 1 slice of meat and 1 Yorkshire pudding. (Been to many brewers fayre where the meat is plentiful and you can also help yourself to yourkshires) the roast potatoes were rock hard and the choice wasn't that great. The girl who I assume by her clothes was probably a manager was lovely though. Great service from her.

We had a meal here yesterday. The food as okay at best, the chips were cold and tasteless. The gentleman dealing with front of house was abrupt and loud. We were told to get a drink and open a tab and it would be waitresses service after that. When no one took our order I asked someone and they said you order at the bar if you are a table of four or less. Our daughter attempted to leave to soft play and got trapped in the very heavy (not fit for purpose) doors and hit her head causing a red lump and we had to fill in an accident form. The cold compress was a bag of ice that was too cold to put on her head. The meal cost £25 which isn't bad, that’s only because we had a 40% off voucher We went to the fox at Shipley today and that meal was £23 and the food was far far superior and a lovely atmosphere. It’s fair to say we will never return! But I really hope they change the doors to the soft play as they are dangerous!

Go to this restaurant when we visit family in the area but it was a very disappointing meal yesterday. Beef pie, well that was a joke, the pieces of gristle came in a small dish in gravy with a tiny circle of puff pasty on top, two of our party had meals from the "smaller portion" menu and they had more chips than the small handful I got, to top it off the decent size portion of green veg were cold, and for this I paid almost eleven pounds. Three cheese quiche had obviously sat in a warming oven for quite a while as it was very dry, the potatoes were almost cold however the salad was nice. The smaller portion meals were were better meals and much better value.

Overall a nice experience. Rob and his team did their best despite major issues with the tills breaking and causing chaos every few minutes. 6 of us were staying in the Premier inn next door (yes I did ask that they were looking after their cleaning staff 😉) we had an evening meal and breakfast. All good, food choice was excellent and very reasonable prices.

Good food! We had a big group eat here for a birthday and it was good. Most of us went for the carvery option. The food was tasty with good portions. The staff were polite and service was quick. It also has a play area that inside it as well (I think it is an extra charge) so it is good for families.
