Good view from restaurant, good parking. Food was good except the beef was tough for us and others. It was replaced by another meal. Service was slow and sweet course was forgotten until reminded. Overall three star will do.

Brewers Fayre - Craigside Inn - is attached to the Premiere Inn. The food is excellent and plentiful and the service quick and pleasant. It's a good sized place broken up into smaller eating areas. H and I were very pleased with it. Breakfast - for the adjacent Premiere Inn - is served here. There's a good selection, usually, however there was one morning when they ran out of coffee! And it's Costa coffee!! But Samantha, our lovely hostess soon sorted me out with fresh coffee. All hail Samantha. 😀

Staff kept me waiting over 15 minutes at the bar for a round of drinks, the place was quiet and they knew I was waiting but decided to carry on chatting amongst themselves, we were going to eat there too moved on to somewhere else, these kind of places can rely on tourism but if that's how they play you can bet your life they'll all be out of work soon. TELL YOUR WORK SHY STAFF TO PULL THEIR SOCKS UP! A business is only as good as the staff that work there!

Great place food average but for the money it is what it is inexpensive Nice decor a little dark on gloomy days Cheap and cheerful.

Dont waste your time, we walked out. Entered on a friday approx 7pm to dirty/littered tables all around. Found a table without glasses etc on but was very dirty and "sticky" tables. Didnt get a great feeling but seen as we were there I went to order. 2 tills and 2 members of staff on bar at them, so stood behind a gentlemen being served at first till i came to and waited. In meantime another 3 people joined the que from the other half of pub but behind the adjacent till, once the gent in front had moved on with his pint i approached and the staff just walked away? I stood waiting before the blunt woman on the other till called over saying i would have to join the que at her till? Having wasted 10 minutes to then be 4th in a que that wasnt even there when i came and given the state of the place and attitudes of staff we left. Instead we went to the Links hotel about 1 mile further down the road which is much better, being clean and with very attentive staff. So at least a postive came from the experience of finding a new place to regularly visit with the same kind of "meal deals" Brewers offer......
