I can't say anything that would do this place justice but I'll try AMAZING!! The single burger is big juicy and always cooked to perfection. I love the pulled pork burger yummy!! My partner tried the hot dog recently and all he said was that was amazing and delicious. Even my 4 yr old son said hot dog was yummy. Great place and we prefer to spend a little extra and go here tgen bay grill etc. Great job to all staff we will always b regulars x
Not good. This did not seem like freshly cooked food. When I ordered I was told it would be delivered in 45 mins , arrived in about 15. Fries not cooked enough Seemed to be warmed up food. My partner would not eat it. Won't use again. £15.00 for poor standard food.
Short summary: Food quality is among every other takeaway in Llandudno not a compliment. This food establishment has lots of potential and could well be one of the top takeout hot spots in town. If you're aiming to be more outstanding than acceptable then read on. I'll start with a positive - the online delivery order system is DEFINITELY the best around. They have a countdown which is handy for many and also a timeline telling you when they accept your order, cook it and deliver. The shakes - the shakes that come with the meal deals are a very basic shakelooks wise but the taste is great. imagine McDonald's milkshakes but a little nicer and in plastic cups this can be improved by atleast adding some sprinkles or a finger of chocolate if you go for the kitkat one. They're are adding extras but for the price you pay the above should atleast be included. The burger - Comes in tin foil which is a brill idea as keeps the burger warm. We tried the Plain burger & the jd burger. The buns look good but taste like any other. This does not make the burgers gourmet. Offer an option for the buns to be toasted/buttered. The burgers themselves I bet are almost definitely not homemade. They taste just like any other frozen quarter pounder. When you offer a shake/burger place they atleast need to be homemade. The extras are average. The onion rings - Definitely come from a pack of cheap frozen onion rings that come from any supermarket. They're not nice from their and they weren't nice on your burgers. This can be drastically improved by making your own. It'll work out the same price if not cheaper, it'll make you stand out from other takeaway places around and if you care about your product tasting nice as apposed to just looking okay then you'll do this. The chips - we had the fries that come with the meal deals. They were absolutely disgusting and ruined a good percentage of the meal. This was only due to them being reheated. If you want to make important changes, then you can start by not giving paying customers reheated food, it's insulting and makes you look cheap. They had potential and reheating ruined that. Delivery was faster than expected - thanks! At the moment, no one that work there can be called a chef as anyone can cut up some potatoes and fry them and also assemble a bun, burger and extras in the correct order. Millions of parent cook frozen food - they're not chefs. This place fails in that looking cool is more important than the quality of product which is average foe around here but poor altogether. Will be ordering again in six months if they're still open to see if anything has changed, if not, I'll see it as a lost causes and will make efforts to ignore it's existence.
So in Llandudno there aren’t many take out options when you look at just eat there’s only a few before we came we looked around and found the coal shack. First off amazing food from the start I’m a very picky eater I had the pulled chicken burger with jack Daniels sauce and it was truely amazing. Plenty of meat awesome brioche bun and cooked perfectly, I also went with a shake it’s not by any means rocket science but for 4.00 you can build your own milkshake with extra flavours and syrups deffinetly worth the price and deffinetly worth a visit
Very friendly staff and great burgers. Even brought my dog a water bowl and hotdog sausage while we were sitting outside. Thanks
