Okay if you need somewhere to take the kids. We popped in for a coffee and warm up, it was 11.40 and the sign said ' wait here to be seated ' so we did. . To be told "lunch not til 12"...explained we wanted a coffee and no real customer service, told to sit in the other area and order at the bar. Coffee was cold, hot chocolate was cold...took it back to be reheated. Decided to try lunch as we were there. Decent offers on pricewise but food in itself nothing exciting to rave about, wasn't horrible and was served quickly. If you're taking kids for a play and a meal it's okay but I personally wouldn't choose to go back and eat there. Despite the prices /target customer range a smile and a little pleasantness to people coming in would go a long way

A few weeks ago I ate here for the first time in many years-and was very quickly reminded why I'd waited so long. The food is nothing better than your standard, probably frozen pub grub you'd find at any of Brewers Fayre's competitors. But what sets this place apart is the shockingly slow service. I waited a solid hour on my main course and the best part of 30 minutes on my dessert-neither being dishes that are particularly hard or should take a long time to prepare. Granted, there was a birthday party of around 20 on this particular date, but aside from us and them, I could've counted on one hand the number of patrons. Really, if a restaurant can't function at less than half capacity, and STILL hasn't improved in a decade, it really needs to question its existence. I won't be rushing back anyway.

Fair prices with a good range of dishes on the menu. Menu could be improved by catering for adults with smaller appetites, for whom the kids menu is not really appropriate. Service was fast and friendly. Background music was not intrusive and table layout allowed for a reasonable degree of privacy.

The staff were nice but the music was turned so low u could hardly here it. The food was okay but not what we expected. 3 different meals which were edible but pretty bland. The first meal of breaded mushrooms was okay but we're quite greasy as u seen the plates we had when the breaded mushrooms were halved u seen grease on the plates. They had barbecue sauce for us which we didn't like. Main meals were okay but we had to ask for mayonnaise for our chips. They gave two of us mayonnaise in two small plastic tubs. Won't be going there again.

Fairly standard chain pub. Food was surprisingly good though. Mains were slow but we got 25% off for the inconvenience. Good children's play area. Overall a little tired, in need of a revamp. Baby changing was locked for some reason which caused a bit of a nightmare trying to hunt someone down to open it and the changing table thing was questionably wobbly.
