I have been here quite a few times now in the past two years and although it has had different owners, the decor has remained nice and cosy. It is a welcoming place with generally really nice food. The downside is the service. Unfortunately, they seem to hire inexperienced young people, who are not entirely awful, but lack basic training and there seems to be nobody in charge to keep order in the place. After my family's latest visit, I would have to say that we were really let down with the service - they had our booking wrong and told us we were lucky to be seated; we waited 30 minutes to have our orders taken (and we had to ask); and our drinks order was left on the bar for so long that we had to ask twice if we could have it, as we could see it sitting ready on the bar, only to have one waiter be incredibly rude to my mum. Although I would return here, I feel that the owners are in serious need of proper training for their staff. However, if you are not in a rush, then the food and drink, as well as the atmosphere often make an enjoyable evening.

This place is a bit of a gem in glenrothes and although only visited once I can say the food is prepared very well and a good menu. Also drinks menu, prices, friendly staff and cleanliness come out very well and i would recommend this place to anyone

Great place to have a family meal without fuss or pressure to hurry up. Video footage of old Glenrothes show on constant stream made for good memories and conversation too. A unique touch
