Braintree District Council

Worst council I have ever come across. Leader good with words but not actions does not keep promises and intentions. Wendy schmitt refused to help police when requested. They and BDC have created dangerous traffic conditions in Skitts Hill for the last ten years. There have been accidents with and without injuries and nobody cares less.

I called these people last week to say my grey bin hadn't been collected. I was told it would be done in 2 or 3 days. I called again today as it still hasn't been collected. I was told that the team said they had collected on the correct day so the job had been closed off. Why would I waste my time calling if this was the case??? I am really unhappy about this but unable to do anything about it. I was told they would see if anyone would be in the area at all to do it but what is the point. It's not something an employee can just put in the boot of their car. Very bad service Braintree. I'm paying for something that you're not providing.

I am in a terrible mess with my housing situation in Another Borough but when I come to Braintree housing for help as I have family there they were happy to give me the correct information I needed and felt with me efficiently, they seem to have a great system going on and employees that know how to do there job I hope to spend my life in witham soon and be apart of a nice community. The binmen need to be more careful, take responsibility for their actions and damage. It's absolutely disgusting the way their "team" back each other up. I'm having to pay out hundreds to fix the damage they caused to my car! Insurance management were helpful though!
