WARNING - Site managed by Euro Parks!!nThere is a 30min limit on parking on site with the smallest of sign at the entrance which is so so easy to miss pic 1. I didn’t notice it even when I was looking out for it having received a fine for overstaying my welcome by 15mins cause I used the bathroom and bought food from the garage. There is also a Pret A Manger with seating which would lead you to believe you would have time to sit and eat your purchases? WRONG!!nThere is no sign at the front of the building pic 2 notifying drivers of said time limit nor any inside.nHowever having spoken to staff in the garage, you can enter your reg on the none sign posted tablet at the till that is never used and get unlimited parking that day. Pic 3 is off the manned till, note no tablet!nPic 4, tablet but till is very rarely used, I live locally and have NEVER been served at this till!!nI was then made aware of another tablet at the Pret A Manger stand, again if you didn’t know it was there or what it was for you wouldn’t notice it!! Pic 5 No signage at all notifying customers that it even exists!!nI would avoid this garage like the plague!! Disgusting!!
I only come to this place twice a year for petrol as it is convenient to visit friends in Crooke Village. Do not bother with the cafe or shop as there is a secret fine to parking in the bays for the shop.There are no notices and you cannot use the cafe as only 30 mins allowed. I have been sent a fine too which I have appealed against and will not pay probably anyway as it is an outrage and scam. There are no signs warning you that I can remember and my local friends do not know about it. to make you pay £100 for using the cafe is outrageous. I was away over two weeks and could not have the option of paying any reduced fine. Eve £60 is an outrageous amount.
Similar to others, I’ve had a fine for spending money on fuel and services here. I did not notice any signage. I phoned BP Care, who told me to contact Motor Fuel Group where I spoke to a rather rude lady. They have now told me I need to speak to Euro Car Parks. Absolutely shameful behaviour towards customers and I’m furious.
Disgusted and saddened to receive a parking fine for a 41 minute visit. We fueled our car, used the bathroom and ate lunch at Pret a Manger. My husband drives for a living and fuels his company vehicle there several times a week, sometimes daily, and he wasn't aware of the 30minute restriction. The site operator MFG were unhelpful with our concerns. As a longstanding loyal supporter of BP products I advise you to avoid this particular site at all costs.
I have just received my second fine for overstaying my time at this service centre. Although six months part. I was annoyed to receive the first fine but paid it as I had been over 60 mins making use of the café facilities, doing emailing etc. over my lunch. I will not be paying this second fine. I was at the site for only 41 minutes. There is obviously something illegal going on here and I will be reporting this business to the trading standards authority. I will not be appealing as this will eat further into my personal time. Probably see you in court.
