Amazing little pub with a great team of staff, providing exceptional service and serving hearty, top quality food and drinks, from a wide-ranging menu! There's a very nice homely atmosphere inside, and it's very spacious too with lots of tables, as well as a dedicated bar area. There's a covered outdoor seating area too, where you can sit and watch the trains pass through Radley station in the warmer months The food was absolutely delicious, and well worth the money, with a starter, two very filling mains, a dessert, and two drinks one being a large glass of wine coming to just under £30! And the staff, including the manager, were all lovely to talk to and nothing was too much trouble Since the pub has had a rebrand and a complete makeover, it's become a lot better in all aspects, and not having personally visited here for several years before this particular recent visit, I can now confidently say I'll be back far more often!
What a lovely pub! Nice atmosphere, superb service and delicious food. We enjoyed a really good value generous Sunday roast with lots of veg, cauliflower cheese, stuffing and a Yorkshire pudding. I would definitely recommend it.
Slow service today, we waited over an hour for our meals, tasty when they arrived. Also very poor amount of cordial given in tall glasses of squash for 2 children, they did not have more than a sip, said no flavour at all.
A lovely Country Pub with something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the Chicken and Ham Pie with gravy recently, very tasty, I also enjoyed the Hunter's Chicken on another occasion. I've found the staff to be friendly and helpful creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere who will do their best to help you. I like the decor with it's subtle lighting including fairy lights and feel that the pub has seating arrangements which allows one to be more private as well as tables which can seat families and friends together. There are several different corners to explore, some tv screens, quieter areas as well as seating in the garden and on some nights you can listen to a band. Also stocked are a range of drinks and beverages to suit most tastes combining the traditional with the more modern. All in all I like this local village pub very much. Thank you. Tracey
Went with family for a meal on Sunday 12/02. Was great service and the two gentle man working on the day were very attentive. For was good too and atmosphere good. Food was brought out quickly. Pleased with everything
A great visit to Bowyers Arms Tuesday. Was lovely hanging out here and having food which was delicious I must say, and the deal was a bargain! Service from staff, especially the manager was amazing. Cheers for a great day guys we hopefully come back very soon.
Had amazing Sunday roasts with the family! Service was spectacular and the food was delicious. Definitely was a great time out with the family. And will be booking another table with the family soon.
Visited the Bowyers arms today for Sunday lunch. Very welcoming and inticing place with excellent service coming from Manager and the staff. I ordered Sunday roast meat Duo's which was delicious and good portions for the price to. Defiantly was amazed by the place and was lovely place to visit. Will definitely have to visit next time with family.
Went for a meal on Saturday 14th January with friends. Marcus and Emily were very welcoming and the food cooked by Dan the chef was absolutely brilliant. The atmosphere in the pub was very relaxed. Everything was very clean. Can't recommend highly enough.
Popped in for lunch and it was great. Food was hot and tasty and staff were friendly. Clean, comfy and welcoming and will definitely return.
