The grass isn’t always greener. A friendly, modern and accessible GP for basic needs.nnThe nurses for routine check ups such as injections, asthma, smears, or contraception reviews are lovely. The physios also very informative. They will all always recognise you and treat you as a person.nnTheir NHS app works well for repeat prescriptions and you can email them directly for anything else. You’ll then get a call back if they need to ask you anything. There is also an automated call back system if there’s a wait for an appointment request so you don’t spend ages listening to music.nnI would say, hence the 4/5 stars, that the GPs are not the best for referrals and escalations on genuine health conditions. But I believe this is more to do with the NHS’ lack of education on particular conditions! Persistence is key in this area. Shout for yourself and what you want them to do opposed to looking for them for help.
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing excellent service during a blood draw, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease the moment I walked in. They took the time to explain the procedure, answer any questions I had, and ensure I was comfortable before beginning.nnThe both technicians who performed the blood draw Tanya Bahn and Denise Roberts were highly skilled and efficient. There was virtually no pain, and the process was over in a matter of minutes.nnOverall, I highly recommend this service to anyone needing a blood draw. It was a fast, easy, and pleasant experience that left me feeling confident in the care I received. If you want top-notch service and a stress-free experience, look no further!
I had an appointment with Dr Singh a locum. She was incredible. She was knowledgeable, confident and explained everything to me.nShe really cared about my experience and went out of her way to get different equipment to make sure I was comfortable rather than just using what was at hand.nI wish this doc was permanent as I would choose to see her at any time.nI couldn’t have felt more at ease and safe with her
Use to be very good - but after sep 2024 absoloutly shocking . It seems their sole aimnIs to make it as complicated as possible to get an appointment so that you either give up Or wait weeks/ months. Utterly disgusting. Even when dealing with a heart issue. Had to really call and call to get a response in a timely manner by a doctor on the on-line system too. Generally hard-work and as unhelpful as they can be .
What has happened to this once lovely surgery. Did the doctors walk out as most of them have been replaced. I was asked to come to the surgery after having on going ridiculous conversation on the AnimanApp. When I replied that I couldn’t make it that day, the conversation was closed as if resolved. Even after the poor feedback was given it obviously wasn’t looked at otherwise I would have been contacted about it with an apology.
