Nothing has changed. Dr Peter has gone - due to "ill health". The website is down. A "new" system is in place. Nothing has changed. This place needs serious overhaul. Staff are polite enough, but have a serious tendency to be utterly blinkered to what is going on around them. They take people's criticism as abuse, when its borne from frustration. Whatever they try, its not going to work, purely because they're not prepared to listen to their patients (initially their customers). If this were a retail business, it would have gone bust, people would leave in their droves. Unfortunately, their customer base is captive and no one has a choice, which makes the staff all the more arrogant that they are doing the right thing, when they're not. If the practice manager was open to opinion and was able to listen, or learn from other practices around the country that work, then maybe, just maybe, things could change for the better. Luckily, at the moment, I'm in relatively good health, I do seriously feel for those less fortunate than myself. Here's how it works and has generally worked for the last two years, before the departure of Dr Peter: You want an appointment? Ring between 8am and 9am. Good luck with this, as you're competing with 100's of others trying to get through. If you're lucky enough to get an appointment, they'll allocate you a time to that particular day. You want an appointment in 1 weeks time? Sorry, no can do, see above. This is a system that simply does not work, its a system that this practice has put in, in various different forms, in the last 6 years. Same thing, dressed up in a different outfit. The model does not work. Whilst I understand that there are mitigating circumstances, these are issues that have been ongoing for over five years and need to be fixed once and for all. If you have an elderly relative you'd like to be with us for that little bit longer, might be an idea to find another doctors.

This has to be one of the worst GP practices in the country from extremely appalling customer service at the reception to nurses with pretty terrible attitude problems. It's a pity I can't give them 0 stars as that is what they deserve. Clearly the management is equally useless otherwise they would have done something to address this going by the multiple bad reviews being attributed to the practice.

Absolutely useless. No chiefs and the Indians don't know what they are doing. Have not seen a GP in almost 2 years only paramedics or nurse practitioner. Last appointment was for 8.10 only for the nurse practitioner to walk into the building at 9.05 so already an hour behind and hadn't even started work. On top of that the senior doctor has left due to ill health. Got to be the worst surgery in Maidstone.

The worst surgery i have ever encountered, the phone lines are never reachable (i refuse to believe its the busiest surgery in the world) and when you do get through 90% of appointments have been pre-booked... useless.

Doctors do NOT know how to manage chronic pain. If it was the doctors who had chronic pain it would be different but because its some-one else they don't care. CQC have been bought in for special measures. You can NEVER get an appointment when you want one and there are NO doctors even working here. Minimum waiting time for a GP appointment is 8 weeks. On their website alot of the issues is " blamed" on administration problems but actually it is down to very poor management
