The staff are mostly helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. But as for most Post Offices it seems these days there isn’t enough space or staff for the 9,000 population Botley Community it serves, so wait times can be considerable.
The staff often overcharge. I posted a small book 2nd class for £3.6 even after the lady could put the pack through the small letter hole in front of my eyes. Instead of updating the fee, she insisted charging it as a small parcel. If not in a hurry, I would not have used the service at all. Try to avoid this branch if you don't want to pay extra postage.
People often write comments about their negative experiences. And I will write about the positive. I contacted this post office three times and all three times the employees helped me and were very friendly.
