"One of south Scotland's largest shooting and fishing tackle shops. Set within the historic county of Roxburghshire in the heart of the Scottish Borders, not far from the banks of the River Tweed. Borders Gunroom of St Boswells have been trading for over 30 years and carry a wealth of knowledge and expertise. We carry a comprehensive offering of guns and tackle and all accessories and apparel applicable to whatever your chosen sport. We have a resident Gunsmith with over 29 years service and carry a good stock of cartridges and ammunition for all bore and calibre. Open six days a week we can be contacted either on-line or by telephone or alternatively, why not pop in when you are next passing. We are here to help whatever your enquiry."

Fantastic buying experience for my first gun. It has been fitted perfectly for me and work they have done to the stock is superb. The shop has everything to could need or want and the knowledgeable staff will give you the best advice.
Super fast service. Order placed yesterday afternoon and received this morning! So delighted as we'd been let down by another company online, having waited 2 weeks to then be told be another 2 weeks before in stock. Wouldn't think of ordering from anywhere else in the future
I stopped by to ask some novice questions about gun fit, and Sean was kind enough to give me some in depth guidance about starting shooting. Bought some ear protection but honestly the advice given for a beginner was priceless. Felt welcome and not patronised in the slightest as I might have feared starting in a new sport. When I am to buy a shotgun in the future I shall be coming here first.

Absolutely ignored me after I purchased a product. They simply don't care once they have your money! I contacted them on 4 occasions and they ignored all 4 emails! I think the 5 star reviews are written by their friends. Disgusted!
Purchased a pair of Gateway 1 Woodwalker wellies online. Last minute order as I was let down by another online company. Dispatched promptly and delivered when they said they would, competitive price. The wellies look great and I think they will give my previously expensive French wellies a run for their money.
Outstanding and very professional i don't often give 5* but on this occasion the online transaction was faultless, from point of order to arrival less in than 24 hours, everyone I spoke to was polite, the product purchased was great value and great quality thank you David and everyone at Border Guns and tackle
Took rifle in to be valued as selling before moving home. Was offered well below value and told reason rifle was damaged. Went in to shop to get rifle back , they had "misplaced deluxe sheep lined gun bag and three lots of ammo.they gave me lots of abuse when I asked for my items saying they did not receive them. They had already put rifle up for sale even though i declined there low valuation and when i asked for it back they were full of contempt picking up rifle by the silencer and waving it about saying it is damaged would never trust them with any firearm they treated me at every turn with total disregard and still even though firm arms officers in Galashiels witnessed the rifle and contents refuse to reimburse for items they sold or misplaced .
