Got a cancellation appointment today at boots Opticians,  Hawick. Problems with sore, watery eyes, lots of floaters. From the minute I walked in the door the staff were excellent. Receptionist was so friendly and the optician was so informative and put my mind at ease. Was in there for an hour for various tests, which all proved that nothing serious was amiss,  despite being told I may have a serious problem from another medical professional.  Would definitely recommend this opticians! Thank you .

I always have a friendly welcome, my questions get answered and the spectacles fit well. The eye test is thorough and I'm confident that my eyes are receiving the best care

They literally saved my eye. The optician agreed to see me quickly on the same day which resulted in a quick and positive outcome. I phoned various opticians in the area and only Boots at Hawick offered to see me the same day. The optician visited me and due to the emergency she managrd to get me an immediate appointment at Edinburgh Eye pavilion. The optician also phoned me the day after to check how I was doing. I am so grateful for her assistance and care which saved my sight. Thank you
