They have removed the manned tills at the front of the shop, leaving only self-checkouts which don't even work properly. Just one employee looking after the self-checkout area and they were all going wrong so there was a huge queue forming and no one could finish scanning their shopping. Lots of security guards, so they've brought in these checkouts but don't trust the customers not to steal.nYou would also think that now they don't have any workers to pay, they would use the money to clean the front of the shop! It looks disgusting covered in algae.
I was very impressed by the standard of customer service at this branch of Boots. I went at a quiet time so the staff weren't run off their feet. They provided a friendly helpful service. The shop was clean and tidy and shelves were well stocked.
Chemist is very poor. Staff just potter behind the counter and leave you standing there for ages. When someone finally got to me and I asked to pick up my prescription, the chemists response was “what, now?” obviously love.nWithout saying anything, the chemist then wanders off back and forth for another 10 minutes on a ditsy little journey only to tell me I’d need to wait a further 15 minutes for her to be ready nSorry for putting you out when I came to pick up my prescription this evening.
Booked in for a hearing appointment. First appointment was cancelled by Boots but they set up another so I went.nnDisappointed to then find that I was told by the audiologist that the first appointment as for 15 minutes and given I am deaf I needed a 75 minute appointment which they would take 6 to 12 months as the audiologist only works part time.nnI'd have not made the journey which was put of the way and being mobility disabled if I knew.nnHearing aids can cost thousands. I thought the whole experience was terrible not least as this was high spend.nnI'll not use Boots hearing services again.
I would like to thank the young lady on your cosmetics counter in your Cheshire oaks branch for her help when I was looking for bb cream foundation which is out of stock. When I told her I was to return home to tenerife tomorrow she gave me a sample to take with me until it's back in stock and my daughter can buy more and send it to menThank you
