Great little post office! Have used this post office location to drop off parcels at odd times of day, when regular post office locations have been closed. The owner is really friendly and the service is excellent. I would highly recommend this post office location.
Exceptionally rude female owner who should not be allowed to serve the general public. She had the nerve and cheek to tell me to hurry up passing her my parcels as she was busy yet i was the only person in the shop ! When i pointed this out to her she replied that the post office was only one part of the business and she had other things to do ! When i mentioned i was trying to help her post office by keeping my business local to help make sure the post office doesn't get closed down like all the others she said that she would rather i post my parcels in the town center branch ! Absolutely incredible ! I had 5 small parcels yet because she was in a hurry to sort something out in the shop side of her business she told me to hurry up ! You just shouldn't do that ! I unintentionally recorded this incident on my mobile phone voice recorder and all that have heard the recording have been shocked at this lady's rudeness. I will be using the royal mail online form to report this poor service along with sending them the recording. It is no wonder we are losing our local post office branches with clowns like this lady running them. Her business partner husband always provides excellent service but is seldom seen behind the counter. Very disappointed. UPDATE 29/11/21 Having sent a complaint along with the recording of my poor customer experience to Post office customer services, i received a letter of apology which i was happy with. Today based on assurances in the letter of apology i decided to give the branch a chance to redeem itself because after all everybody has their bad days and maybe i had caught the postmistress having "a bad day". So in i walk with a parcel to post and with my phone voice recorder this time intentionally recording in the hope the postmistress would apologize for previously having had a bad day...but NO, NO APOLOGY and instead she refused to serve me for having left her a one star review and complained to customer services ! ! ! Absolutely shocking ! ! ! This just proved to me that my previous comments were entirely justified. I am a good person and i genuinely believe in karma and i always treat people like i would like to be treated but i will not be giving this branch a third chance...instead i will travel a little further and give my business to Queensbury post office where the service is always excellent. I wish i had read the 1 star review another customer had left 3 years ago. I now hope that Post office customer services will listen to my past recording again along with my new recording and take some constructive action and remove this CLOWN from the role of postmistress. I strongly urge anyone else who has had similar bad experience to report to customer services via online form..we deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. Karma to the Clown !
