Booths is an excellent shop. Not only does it stock a massive range of locally produced and fresh produce it has the best beer and wine selection around. I prefer to drink real ales and cask ales, there are literally hundreds on offer. Also, if you are looking for a decent bottle of gin or a fine whiskey, Booths is the place to go. A lot of people complain that it's more expensive than the other main brand supermarkets, but the quality of the food and the venue I'm which it is displayed is far better than the competition. Also, you can pick up a free Booths card which drops all the day to day things like bread and milk down to a cardholders price that matches the prices of the big 4. Not only that but with a card you get a free tea of coffee from either the cafe upstairs or the machine downstairs. The coffee is fantastic too, as not a lot of people know, but Booths started off a very long time ago as a coffee and tea importer. 
Definitely the best supermarket in the area with the best choice of produce. Even if it is a little more expensive it's still worth a visit.

Can't fault Booths. The prices are really very good given the quality and variety of what's on offer. The biggest thing for me was that they sell the luxury and different, things you wouldn't see in the big 5. The cafe was a real pleasure to eat and grab a coffee. Easy and free parking and sitting in an excellent retail complex. A must visit in the area.

Good shop with a lovely cafe (with great staff) A walk around the shop is ‘a voyage of discovery’ and inspiration to try something new. We’re lucky to have a shop like this.
