Stayed here for 6 weeks to prepare for my osce. Place is nice with every facility you need to make yourself at home. Staff are friendly, the share kitchen is fully equipped.
Rude staff. No bedsheet, duvet sheet and pillow case, toilet tissue on my first night. When I checked in, the welcome email asked me to bring the car inside by the reception to collect keys and had no problem with checking in. The lady whom i spoke to when checking in was lovely and helpful and was apologetic about not having the bedsheet linens and pillow case. On the day of me checking out, it was raining so i dropped my luggage to my car and decided to drive and park by the reception to drop the keys back and complete my check out. Upon arriving at the reception, the lady with a strong european accent was not happy and stated that “cars are not allowed inside”. I stated that I am only checking out and because its raining I didnt want to get wet. The security behind then jumped in the conversation and stated “So?”. The way the 2 security and receptionist looked at me with disgust when I stated that it was raining was appalling and they had no shame to even sigh loudly. The lady at the reception then proceeded to loudly talk behind my back stating “I don’t understand why people are so difficult” Lovely accommodation as it caters to what my needs are for work purpose but the staff needs to learn how to communicate better. I’m not sure if its just because they had a busy night but that is no way to talk or treat customers.
The services offered were excellent only the time i was checking out, the one who was to pick me up was not allowed in the compound yet we could see other cars drive in without being questioned.
This place is cozy and clean compared to other ensuites. Flatmates are plab 2 takers or students mostly so they are clean. Reception is super friendly. Once I got a printing error with their printer and they came and fixed it immediately. Price is a bit much compared to other ensuites. But worth the deal.
Very horrible place to stay. a lot of maintenance issues in the bathroom that never gets fixed no matter how many times you tell reception. also they do fire alarm testing twice a week sometimes in the middle of the night which is very inconsiderate and annoying. especially for the price you pay, this accommodation is not worth it.
Cosy and Comfortable place to stay,Affordable price,Study table, Comfortable bed and ensute washroom is available
Crd to original owner My Booth Hall experience Firstly getting from the train station to booth hall is not that far but its quite difficult if you have your luggage with you. Didn't find any bus. You can call this number to arrange a taxi from the station to booth hall. It's costs about £ 4-6 +447437036924 If you choose to walk...just follow the main road on the map and dont take the shorter route that the map offers which is harder to walk through...well for me at least Check-in super easy. Had to pay a 50 deposit, refundable once you leave provided your room is clean. I just gave my details to the receptionist. Got my key card, and keys to my room. My room was in the 3rd floor. You can hire a porter to take your luggage for 10 pounds per bag. Room was nice, and comfy. A bit dusty, so i took the vacuum from the kitchen and vacumed it. Do remember to bring all your own toiletries eg handwash, shower gel, shampoo, wipes, toilet paper and a portable bidet if you can find. Flatmates were nice and sweet but a bit messy. I understand that everyone had exams nearby and others were too busy studying to bother to clean up. It did get frustrating but if you ever reach your boing point, just call reception and complain and they should sort out the situation. This won't nessacarily be your experience Things you can buy/bring for the kitchen include, dishwashing liquid, sponges, bin bags, detergent. Laundry service available at the reception which cost 3.5 pound for washing and 1.50 for the dryer. Food wise, there's Co op and Aldi supermarket near by. They both really helped me keep my food budget under 5 pounds per day. Other options include Subway and Greggs. If you can cook, you'll spend even less. What I had: Breakfast: Cereal with milk or toast, coffee Keep snack with you when you go to the academy, like biscuits, chocolate, fruit Lunch: Meal deal from Co op Check meal deal section, get any sandwich/pasta with any drink of your choice + a snack all for just 3.50 Dinner : ramen/ precooked rice with eggs/ simple pasta in tomato or pesto sauce/ Stir-fry Pots, pans, cutlery, scissors, toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge are available. Lots of cupboard space to keep any items you buy. It's very near the academy. It did rain alot while I was there, so bring an umbrella. Accommodation is £25 per night, initially I thought that this was very expensive but after leaving Booth hall I've stayed at 2 other places and I ended up paying more and neither of them was half as comfortable/clean/quiet as booth hall. Overall had a good experience, would definitely recommend staying here.
Accommodation is real good.. but 25 £ a night is a bit high unfortunately
Great accommodation, respectful service and good price
Pleasant place to stay. Quite, comfortable & value for money.
