Its a shame on a busy Sunday this place was so quiet. Its 2 streets back from the seafront but worth heading over to. Its a traditional chippy we ate in. Prices are more than reasonable, food excellently cooked, the fish was flaky and tasted excellent, batter perfectly crisp and the cups of tea were on tap. Service was quick and friendly. Would defiantly use this place again and highly recommend it.
This place could be the best chippy in Blackpool but the chips are hit an miss, some are undercooked. The batter isn't nice at all, work definitely is needed on the batter, the curry sauce is amazing. I still go there from time to time and the chips are still undercooked, I dont eat anything with batter on. They also need to do some real menus and signs. It looks very unprofessional. Sort that out and you will become award winning.
First time visit and didn't disappoint. Amazing value and good quality. The staff were really entertaining and kept a smile on my face throughout the visit. Only critasism would be that the chips could have done with a couple of minutes longer but that's probably just my preference. We will be returning in the near future.
Ordered a delivery through Just Eat on Good Friday. Food was really good, chips were some of the best I've had, Fish in a nice light batter. Still hot when it was delivered. Really impressed, food for four and was less than £20.
Ok let’s start with the good things about this chippy/cafe. The customer service was very good. Especially the blonde waitress whom was very polite and friendly. The pricing of the food is very fair haddock for only £3 and cod for only £3.20. And now the not so good. The fish and chips was absolutely tasteless. Even with half a bottle of salt and vinegar poured all over it. The table, the floor, and the window ledges were very dirty and staff were not utilising the time without serving customers to tidy up. Instead they were just having a bit of banter. Fine to come here for a cuppa and a gossip. But, I won’t be eating here again.
Went to this chippy for the first time today. It will be the last time. Chips were awful. Some were cooked. Some were very undercooked. Batter was horrible. What a waste of money. Also waited ages for it to be made. Not very busy. I am not surprised. Not very clean inside. Avoid!
This place has gone through new management, with definite improvements made across the board. Definitely one of the top tier chippies in South Shore Blackpool, new management was very recent, like a month or less ago, so it's good to see positive changes be made in a quick fashion.
We went with familie and was new management.. Food was brilliant and large portions for the price.. The fish was so fresh we never tasted it so good.. We will be back in few weeks..
I heard this Chippy is under New management and thought I would give it a try. I was not disappointed fish massive and freshly cooked. Would definitely recommend the Bond Street Chippy Thank you
We called in after a day walking up & down the beach. We were hankering after some good fish & chips and that's what we got. Good food and great value with pleasant service. We will be back again
