I recently had the unfortunate experience of trying a Vada Pav and a Frankie from Bombay Zone and I must say, it was thoroughly disappointing. The Vada Pav, a beloved street food that's usually bursting with flavors, tasted oddly off. The potato filling was bland and had a peculiar aftertaste that reminded me of medicine—far from the spicy, garlicky punch I was expecting.  The Frankie didn't fare any better. What was supposed to be a flavorful wrap filled with delicious fillings turned out to be a confusing mix of tastes that didn't complement each other at all. The overpowering flavor of what I can only describe as medicinal herbs made it difficult to enjoy. It was as if the seasoning had been replaced with something you'd find in a pharmacy, not a kitchen.

Hey Bombay Zone, We liked the shop atmosphere and service. We ordered Vegetable Dumplings and Pav Bhaji and Golab Jamun.  To be very honest we expected something super delicious but it was average. I will surely visit next time to get a good food experience.  Thank you.  Vegetarian options: This is a pure vegetarian outlet.

Underwhelming. The chats are mid. The service is good. A big menu for a small place. Seating is close to none. Just 4 seats on a high table are present. The sev puri I had was built using the pani puri pooris which didn't taste good. Papdi chat didn't have papdi in it. Same for the dahi puri as well. Samosa chat and pani puri was okish as well. Just not worth the money. Only the service is good.

Ordered food through Uber Eats on May 27.  My friend and I had Misal Pav, and three hours later, we both got food poisoning and were vomiting. We also experienced heartburn, bloating, and upset stomach today.  The owner needs to address this issue immediately.  I called the restaurant in the morning and spoke to the manager didn't get the name. He called back and claimed that food poisoning takes more than 8 hours to kick in, which didn’t make sense to me, it takes 30mins. While he appreciated my call, I’m not satisfied with how the problem is being addressed. After reading other reviews of the restaurant, I'm perplexed.  I've attached a couple of screenshots of the call to avoid any claims of this being a fake review. For the record, I'm a Google reviewer and do not post fake reviews. A very small place. There was seating capacity for like 4 people at a time. Like they say, it’s a street food place. Prepare to stand and eat.  The food was decent. I had the following:  Pani poori: The poori and the stuffing were good. If you’re some one who tasted haldirams the sides wouldn’t taste as good as you would expect.  Pav Bhajji: Was well cooked and felt home made but not the best taste in Toronto.  Momos: was good and was as expected.  Fresh Lime: wasn’t fresh. Extremely salty.  Peri peri cheese Frankie: was good and is one of the top contributors to this rating.  Last but not the least, Dosas were crispy and great. That’s the main reason for a higher rating.  You could place your orders online using QR code and in person. But if you did in person, they start at $2 and not zero. Not sure why.

We ordered Samosa chaat,Chole batura , manchurian fried momos,tea and mango lassi.I have to say the taste of all the food items were amazing.The quantity is definitely worth the price.All the food items were served hot and fresh.The samosa chaat and the chole batura stands out. The tea was ok but the mango lassi tasted great.The only negative thing about this place is that it accommodates only 5 persons for dine-in and if you are lucky you would get one else it becomes crowded.Highly recommend to have their food in dine-in ,cause don’t miss to have them hot!  Vegetarian options: Pure vegetarian

The restaurant is open pretty late after working hours which is a plus .  The interiors were very basic . The cleanliness of store could be better . It’s more like Takeout place to be honest .  I would say the quality of food was very average / below average for few products .  Ordered Dahi Puri . Very pricy and not the worth quality.  Ordered peri peri panner aloo Frankie - I would definitely recommend owner to take a look at quality of food delivered for price . It was stuffed with 90 % aloo stuffing . I hardly could see paneer. It was pretty plain . Aloo stuffing .  Dosa was the worst I ever had in GTA . Momo’s was ok , but it was so salty .  Overall very disappointed.  Not recommended .  Some pictures attached .

First time here and I ordered two dosas. I got a Masala dosa and the Mysore masala dosa. My mom had the regular masala dosa which she really enjoyed. The sambar that came with it was also good, more on the tomato soupy side but nonetheless flavour was good. The spice level for the Mysore dosa was great, and tasty. The dosas itself were big and honestly 1 is good for 2 people to share if getting it for a quick bite to eat. Perfectly crispy edges, and tasty filling. All in all no complaints. Best to eat there while the dosa is fresh. The man who took my order was kind and very patient as I looked thru the menu with my mom to decide as they had lots of options.  Came back in moments later to buy yet another masala dosa for my sister at home and although it was an hr of a drive back home for me, she really enjoyed the dosa which was wrapped very well as it was still perfectly warm.

Flavourful, fresh , aromatic and affordable. Great place to try in Scarborough. Their papdi chaat and pani / Dahi puri are must try items. Their chais as well. More suited for takeaway. There is a small counter space you can eat as well. They can be very busy at times so I recommend calling in to place your order in advance. Their service is top notch!

Very nice taste of food we ordered framkie. Munchurian momo, vadapau and grill d cheese sandwich. We also pack some sweets too. Must try this place.  Vegetarian options: Only veggies food available here
