The super friendly, smiling staff makes all the difference. You immediately feel welcome, food is good and the terrasse is amazing. Thank you so much
Really friendly service. Nice atmosphere even though it was a quiet Monday. Food was really good quality. Super delicious and highly rated Chicken wings.
This a classic neighborhood bar with a super friendly staff and some really good food. I sampled several of their beers and had a Sunday roast which was good. A good and friendly atmosphere.
Lovely staff, great selection of beers and a chilled environment makes "the bollo" a fantastic neighbourhood pub.
Went to this pub for a long overdue catch up with my three brothers who u have not seen since pre Covid. The interior has a genuine old but not tatty feel to it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and proficient bartenders. There was a really good selection if beers, including a speciality one called "Neck Oil" which one if my brothers enjoyed. Decent lagers and a well poured Guinness which I drink. Although we didn't eat it was apparent that people went there especially for the food. Also there was no loud music or blaring television, very important to over 60s old codgers like me and my brothers. When next in the area will definitely visit again
Meals very nice indeed as we're the deserts ,Looked after by Sebastian who was very good
Beer was off but they willingly changed it. Edit As the reply says, it's very true the end of a barrel can go off quick. And the replacement was excellent.
I go this pub regularly and the staff is always attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere, drinks, and food strongly recommended
My first visit for a long and leisurely lunch with a friend. It's a beautifully well-cared-for pub full of Victorian charm with historical photos on the walls. It quietly shouts its history. The wines were outstanding as was the food. I chose the Wild Boar sausages - they've never tasted like that before! The staff were outstanding and the manageress utterly charming. Go visit, it's a delight.
Great lunch with a good friend over a couple of bottles of fantastic wine. Trade was steady when we went but we were very well looked after by Rona and the team. Food was unfussy but very tasty, the wild boar sausages in particular stood out. Well worth a visit.
