What a wonderful sun trap, location and a very friendly yet professional gentleman behind the bar. Took a while for our food to arrive and my fish and chips was swimming in oil. For the very first time, I couldn't empty my plate due to my body's protestation. Plenty of vegetarian options.Despite having excessive oil content in my plate, I would recommend this establishment and perhaps refrain from ordering anything deep fried I guess.
The staff were lovely and friendly. Sadly half the menu was missing or not in stock and the food that was delivered was so so. Not the the usual spec of those dishes. I would give it another go as the general atmosphere was nice.
Came in today and had a great experience, food was brilliant and Dan on the bar was fantastic. Made our drinks just how we liked showed us to our table and made us feel really welcome. Can't wait to come back next week.
Bustling Greene King pub that serves food and shows football. Ate better here on a quieter day when the food and service was excellent. Eaten in a much busier evening and the food was a bit more variable plus the main courses took a very long time to arrive. Used the app to order food to the table and that works pretty well
I have not been for a long time I was the looser on this I just dropped in for a quick lunchtime snack the food was above my expectation. I and my wife had the pensions special menu I was not disappointed with top quality pub food with a price to match what a fantastic staff very charming with a good sense of humour
Lovely pub, great food, good service. Will definitely be going back.
Nice food, great ambience. Waiting on staff are lovely. However, some of the bar staff are lacking in courtesy, aren't welcoming, and come across as abrupt. This equates to rudeness, and implies poor training in basic tenets of hospitality and customer retention.
Plenty of free parking behind the resteraunt, make sure you put your car reg into the tablet next to the bar. There was a very relaxed atmosphere to the place and the staff were very helpful. We got two main meals for £14.99, food was lovely, well cooked and piping hot. This is definate stop over if you ever get to walk around Churchtown.
Went today, after complaining on a two star that it was not clean on the tables But today was fantastic table, spotless floor spotless and as usual stuff for 100% at their jobs, knew their customers and what they drink. Had a fantastic time will spread the news and we will be back soon as we normally come about three or four times a week thank you very much indeed.
Went for a meal. Waited over 1 hour. It arrived, cold plate chips overdone and cold scampi barely warm. This was VERY disappointing. Ladies toilet very dirty floor filthy. Would not return..
