We can’t recommend this company enough. After google searching local companies to do a boiler service, we were called by a company who quoted us £144!! Ming charged us a fraction of this cost, and came within a week and a half. It was also extremely helpful that he took calls in the evenings when we were searching for a company, it meant we could immediately talk to him and get the appointment booked in. Ming himself is a lovely guy. Five stars!

Ming was absolutely excellent. I woke up on a cold Sunday morning with no hot water or central heating and, despite having emergency breakdown cover with British Gas, they couldn't fit me in for another five days. I called Ming and he picked up within a few rings and was out a few hours later. He fixed the problem and provided advice on what to do should something similar happen in the future. Bearing in mind this was a Sunday in the middle of December, he was also very reasonably priced and quoted all prices upfront. Highly recommended - go for a local trader over one of the big names!

Excellent service - fitted in my lone parent's broken central heating within 12 hours. Great ideology of fix it if possible rather than just replace. System was back up and running before the end of the day at a very reasonable price. Would recommend to anyone!

Ming is our hero! He was the fourth plumber that we called to resolve issues with our newly installed boiler. He was able to diagnose that an error by the original fitters had caused a relatively unusual problem and used his superior knowledge and research to give us a fully functioning system after six months of fruitless searching on our part. We could not recommend this business more highly!

We have used this company on numerous occasions for fixes and services for our boiler.  For urgent matters when our boiler broke a number of years ago Ming responded quickly and got us up and running, and Boiler services are thorough.  Have recommended on numerous occasions and will continue to do so!

Had to call Mr. Ming  Xu to diagnose and repair an issue with my central heating and hotwater system. He arrived on time quickly diagnosed the problemit was the pump and rather than replacing the pump like most other gas engineers would advise, he replaced the £10 capacitor inside the pump's electrical unit and made it work again. Highly recommend Mr Ming Xu for you next boiler/heating/electrical issues as he is very knowledgeable, punctual and for his professionalism. Thank you.

Called this morning boiler not working phone answered. Confirmed he could come between 4 - 6pm. Turned up within these times and I now have a working boiler. He also pointed out what the issue is that caused the boiler not to work. Totally recommend.

Ming came out to check my boiler last week 09/12/21 which was completely dead. Within 20 mins of arrival he diagnosed the problem and informed me what the issue was. Due to the problem I had leaking flow elbow and damage to the fan and possible PCB issue and the availability of parts he said the best option would to call Worcester Bosch and ask for a fixed price out of warranty repair. The reason being that they would have the parts available on their van when they came out. This is the reason for the 5 star review, he could have said "you need a new boiler at approx. £2k - £2.5K" and I would be none the wiser but he was more inclined to repair the boiler and pass the work to someone else. In this disposable age not only is he looking at cost to the environment but a truly honest engineer who I'd highly recommend without a doubt.  Update 11/10/22 - I will not stop singing Mr Mings praises, I asked him to service my boiler and as per usual his high standards were maintained. He acknowledged the date of the service by text and the day of the service sent a reminder. He was arrived on time and was clean tidy and efficient. He is without doubt worth 10 stars!!!!

Very happy with Ming from Herts boilers. Came same day, fixed emergency. Although one of the new parts was fine at first, it stopped overnight. He came back next day, replaced again, and now all good. Good attitude, he explained his work to me and I'm happy

Wow, incredibly impressed by Ming and his colleague Neill.  Boiler broke down on a cold, wet and wintry Saturday morning, Ming responded to my call before 9am and then diagnosed the problem remotely the printed circuit board was dead.  The faulty part was replaced and the boiler back up and running all on the same day.  What can I say... I can see that Ming / Herts Boilers have a perfect 5* review record, but really it ought to be 10 out of 5 :-
