Very friendly and helpful staff with good bikes! Much quieter than other bike shops along the camel trail

Good quality bike, friendly guy at the counter. Bike came with everything you would need: Panier, pump and puncture repair kit plus lock. Advice offered on times to get to places and directions. Great value for money and highly recommended if you want a city type cycle for the Camel Trail.

Bodmin Bikes are a friendly and helpful hire shop. Lots of different sizes and all bikes brand new !! lovely tranquil ride and a perfect day. Parking only £3.50 opposite  for all day. I would use again and highly recommend.

He's a friendly chap and he does his best but the experience could be a bit more customer-oriented to say the least.  Pluses: was able to ring in the morning and pre-book a bike. We got a bike for the day.  Downsides: the bike wasn't appropriate for the trail. We were going to Wenford bridge and the trail going north is much rougher than the fine gravel going to Wadebridge and Padstow. He hired a standard head teachers bike which was marked for road and fine gravel path only. He should have known this and offered me an MTB or similar - would have happily paid more for it. Was quite sore coming back as a result.  Like many Cornish businesses he refuses to take card payments at all which is fine I suppose but he got confused over whether that was just for the deposit £70 or car keys or driving license or the hire itself so I still had to get to a cash machine despite bringing £80 with me. He just doesn't get that people don't carry driving licences any more since the digital licence came in so he kept saying I'm happy to have your wife's.  But to be honest, handing over a driving license is asking for identity theft, handing over car keys too is equally stupid so £70 is the least of it.  All in all a bit frustrating but I sympathise to a certain extent. I hope he reads this and thinks maybe I could make a few changes to help my customers.

Superb customer service. Our bike ride came to an abrupt wobble when my chain snapped! We took my bike to this shop and the chap fitted my chain on the spot. We went on to ride 13 miles without any issues. Thank you!

I went to this guy for parts and he was one of the rudest shop keeps I have ever met, his prices were triple that of other stores however I ended up purchasing parts because he is so intimidating and verbally aggressive I felt embarassed and belittled. I saw him also treat too poor older ladies like idiots because they didn't know anything about bikes. Please do not provide this horrible man with any business go to Bodmin or the other bike shop in Bodmin or gumtree.

Hired me a Bike for the weekend ! Bike was in good condition and i had no issues with it. They aren't open Sundays so I got use of the bike till Monday.  Will rent from them again!

Owner was kind and helpful. We hired 4 bikes for the day and had no problems whatsoever. Great service

Polite, friendly, happy, helpful and certainly didn't shout at us!  Never mind Wadebridge, just cycle through it on the way between Bodmin and Padstow! Brilliant day out! And park over the road all day for £3!

Very helpful and friendly staff, bikes in perfect functional order, would use again without a second thought.
