Couldn't figure out whether it's a bar or a restaurant, but didn't matter because it caters to both clientele really well! Love the ambience and can only imagine how this place is on game day... Maybe one day I will! tj
Very nice food and atmosphere at Bobby Byrne's. Went there for brunch and had a lovely time. Thanks to everyone working there for making us feel so comfortable and welcomed! Special shout out to Sara, for being so kind, professional and friendly. We totally recommend it. We'll definitely come back!
Lovely atmosphere and delicious vegan breakfast with nice seasonings and perfect portions.
Good pub food, have been a couple of times now and always get a good service and food. Always seems steady flow of customers and service is usually quick and staff are always friendly
The food was extremely delicious. The staff was very nice brilliant nice on Valentine’s Day N
Had the pleasure of having breakfast there recently, absolute perfection on a plate, I had eggs benedict and my partner had Belgian waffles with bacon and fresh fruit. We didn't speak a word to each other for 20 minutes . Two stunning plates of food. Service was amazing , staff very friendly and happy , counting down the days until we return, maybe for their brunch or dinner option next time. Compliment s to the chef ‍
Live up the road from Bobby's, always great for a bite to eat. Went in today as it was my mam's anniversary. Myself and my niece had food and drinks, our server was the nicest guy ever, my kids joined later, no problem with food for them. Great spot, great staff.
We went to Bobby Byrnes pub for pub grub yesterday and were very disappointed. Despite the comfortable surroundings and lovely staff, the food was very overpriced with roast of the day costing €15.95 and fillet of beef costing €20.95. Goats cheese tartlets costing €11 was really poor pricing considering it was literally a small wheel of goats cheese in a pastry base with a garlic and herb jus and 5 wedges arranged in a circle around the tartlet. We won’t go there again.
We meet a colleague in Limerick every so often and more often than not it is Bobby Byrne's! We always had an enjoyable meal but today, however, was a different story. Two colleagues had the Roast Pork special of the day and both dishes arrived cold especially the vegetable and potatoes. Both requested Apple Sauce and none was to be seen and never arrived. Apple Sauce is a must with Pork or so I would have thought. The third colleague had the Beef Burger which arrived in the middle of a large plate with absolutely nothing accompanying it, other than a small metal mug of chips at the side. The Burger you could not fault it, it was tasty but the dish was really emply without an accompanying salad or some form of accompaniment to make it look interesting at least on the plate. I have had the burger many times, the last time around August 2022 and there definitely was a salad with it at the time. It must be a sign of the times.! I have to acknowledge the waiter Brandon who was looking after us. He apologised without hesitation and as a gesture of good will offered us a further drink. My colleague was having a glass of Pino and I a glass of guinness. Brandon saved the situation somewhat by his kind gesture for which I thank him. However, having to make up for poor quality and standard of food is not good enough in these times. There is plenty of choice out there and I'm afraid this experience has left a question mark over our further outings to Bobby's.
Great place for food. Staff very friendlyFood: 5/5
