Went for the Sunday roast, did not disappoint. Service was extremely fast and the portion size was perfect. Option to get the meat pink or well done. Plenty of space to park. Would recommend the ham.
I love all of the Parogon restaurants and The Boars Head didn't disappoint. Delicious food and cocktails. My girlfriend and I couldn't fault it at all. A perfect dining experience, with delightful staff. If you fancy treating yourself, I highly recommend it. Vegetarian options: My girlfriend had the vegetarian risotto and it was absolutely delicious Parking: Lots of parking space with easy access to the restaurant
Absolutely amazing! Food, drinks, service - nothing to fault and excellent value for money. Thanks to Lois for making our experience the best. Cheers guys! Dietary restrictions: This was their first question on arrival!
Much better than expected and staff really are super friendly and kind. Clean and modern room with all you need. Comfy clean bed and decent bedding. Grout in bathroom a bit grubby but I don’t go around licking shower wall tiles so it didn’t bother me at all. Noise from road but that is too be expected in a town and again didn’t bother me at all If you are sensitive to noise maybe try a more rural countryside location. Breakfast was adequate with toast, cereal, yoghurts, tea, coffee and juices all readily available. Not much option for vegetarian fried breakfast but staff we super accommodating and really are a key part of what makes this place fabulous value for more and I’d definitely say it’s somewhere I’d stay again.
We had a lovely birthday dinner here for my brother-in-law. The food and staff were lovely. I would definitely recommend this place if you haven't been already
Went to the Board Head on Sunday night. We did book the tipi but due to the wind we’re advised to stay inside, my suggest for this would to not have the option to book the tipi on days they can not let customers in it as I was quite excited for it. However, the glass room we were put into was gorgeous! The food was so yummy, we do not have one bad thing to say about it! I especially have to mention the duck starter which was delicious. Would definitely come here again. Staff were extremely friendly and service was great.
1st time at the Boars head, Nantwich. Very impressed. Polite and attentive staff, very clean and well maintained. I noticed the staff helping an elderly lady and even though it was there busier time of the week, they seemed like they had all the time in the world for the lady. The ambience was great, the drinks were spot on and the food, oh the food.... Very very good. Cannot recommend this venue highly enough. Good job and thank you
Visited here Easter Sunday lovely open outdoor space we popped for drinks ended up having some lunch. Surprised they wasn’t overly busy with it being Easter Sunday. Lots of dogs outside with owners…. Rated only 3/5 as food was just ok standard I had the fish & chips and wasn’t the best. Batter to crispy to the point I couldn’t eat any. Only a little fish inside. Pea purée was tasteless . Tartar sauce was very nice. Stayed around 1.5 hours. Staff was all pleasant and smiling.
Recommended to us and it didn’t disappoint. Table service, prompt, friendly and professional. Good selection of food but not too much to overwhelm. We ordered the olive tapenade, sausage and mash and the haddock goujons. Excellent food, very high quality and excellent service. We sat outside in the sunshine, there is a paved terrace, lawn seating and a wooden tepee type building. Very picturesque. Beautiful and will definitely go again. Highly recommended.
Visited today. And wife and I both had the Crispy Belly Pork and gratain potatoes with black pudding. And it was absolutely fantastic. Ben who served us was very polite and friendly and efficient . And is a credit to the establishment.
