I don't usually come to a gyro shop because of the dearth of vegetarian options, so was surprised to find a t least a couple of options here. I usually get the the Halloumi with Olives option. Not sure how authentic this is, but it's delicious. Surprisingly so juste because I don't expect 2 salty items to go well together. The service is pretty quick, even during busy lunch times. The staff could really smile a bit more and just generally put on their happy face. We're customers after all. But then, some times it's tough when there a lot of customers to get through, so it's forgivable.
Specialist in Souvlaki. They have Pork, Chicken Breast, Turkey Breast, Greek Village Sausage, Lamb or vegetable. They do both salads and wraps. Lovely with Chips for a nice quick treat :
Fast service so suits a lunch break. Usually less than a 5 min wait for food. The meat is cooked on charcoal which makes it so much more flavoursome than most places in the area. It all seems to be of a good quality, trust me I'm fussy. The gyros uses proper chicken breast and the salad is fresh. Nice choice of deserts if you're treating yourself.
I had the pork souvlaki and I'm afraid the quality wasn't as expected. The meat was dry and difficult to chew. The salad, pitta bread and tzatziki sauce were fresh but there was lack of flavour. The chips were tasty and a good portion. For the price I don't think you get a satisfying meal but it's not awful. It just needs a bit of improvement!
Most expensive Souvlaki I have ever eaten. Was definitely not worth the £6 price. The chicken was grizzly and there were only 2 chips inside my pitta. Lived in Athens for a year so I've had my fair share of different Souvlaki and Gyros but this was by far the worse.
Some of the best chips ever and the chicken souvlaki was nice. Far too expensive for what you get. They make everything nicely, but this is ruined by the high price followed by very surly and sour service. I wanted to buy more, but I didn't feel welcome at all. I felt like I couldn't even ask, as they were not bothered to serve anyone and in a right mood. I didn't feel like spending more at this point after £15 pounds spent on just thing three things. Service must be improved and the food is tasty - prices need a good looking at! Very good place with a lot of potential ruined by the extremely poor service.
Popped in with a colleague for lunch on the go. Service was good, the lady who served me was very friendly. I ordered the pork wrap. Very tasty although the portion is on the small size. But for £6, it’s definitely worth the price.
Disappointing! Very small, not that tasty and far from original greek souvlaki. Meat felt like it was good quality but can't make up for all the other cons! Also pricey for what you get - well the location is what you are paying
Probably the best Souvlaki wrap in London. Bit overpriced around £5/wrap which isn't big enough but it had great original taste as if I was back home in Greece. No gyros unfortunately Great that they do delivery with UBEREats
I got the 'Souvlaki Meal'; now, in Greece when we say 'meal' we refer to an open pita bread with meat pieces or skewers, tzatziki sauce, potatoes and a small salad. In this place they mean a wrap and potatoes OR salad on side, which doesn't justify either the name or the price. Furthermore, the wrap was rather dry as they put only a splash of tzatziki. Sad to say, this is not proper greek souvlaki. Disappointing.
