This is located a short walk from Liverpool St Station. I visited on a Sunday around 7pm. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The toilets were in good condition. I thought the prices for a charcoal grill meal was pretty steep for what you get. I very much enjoyed my helim salad. We both ordered rice as a side. We had a soft drink each. We shared a plate of boreks at nearly £8 for 3!. Our bill totalled to over £60 - this included tip. The service was very good to begin with, but we waited quite a while to see if a dessert menu or tea would be offered they weren't. We had to call a member of staff over to ask for the bill. The place was not busy, so I felt they should have been a little bit more observant.
Amazing food at an expensive cost for an indoor and outdoor seated Turkish restaurant. Located just off Liverpool Street. Portion sizes are decent and more filling than at first glance as the chicken and meat is very premium. This is the kind of place with coat service and is located leading into a serviced offices. Relatively speedy plates on a grilled dish each to a table of 6 on a not so busy lunch service. 5 stars rated for the chicken Shish boulders. Extremely tender and succulent chunks served with dip and grilled vegetables. 5 stars verified
It's decent. Portion sizes are on the smaller side, the waiters we encountered were nice. We were overcharged for drinks significantly and I guess they thought we wouldn't notice for context, £108 for 3 double shots of Hennessy. When we asked about it, to their fairness, they removed it, but then when we got the new bill we had found that they put the same amount under courvoisier. As for food, starters were amazing, main courses were on the smaller side, you have to purchase rice separately. Even on the set menus. It's one to try once, but I wouldn't set your expectations too high.
Incredible food , very tasty and juicy. Great cocktails and the staff were excellent. The indoor decor and ambience of the restaurant is also very nice and modern. A great place to eat. We had the Kofte and Iskender dishes and all tasted great
Arrogance… arrived at 4ish the lady told us we could have a table until 6pm. At 5.15 staff are moving chairs & tables around and asked us to leave now so they can prepare the tables … We did move to another table but really poor service & just arrogant staff Good luck. I’m sure it’ll do well short term but I’d never go back myself.
It is a very nice restaurant in Liverpool street with great service and Beautiful decor, however the food is not the greatest. Portions are small for a Turkish restaurant. The mezze was slightly disappointing, we were three and the mezze came with only one falafel. But the main dishes were good Portion. I wouldn't advise the artichokes stew as it tasted too much like vinegar. We didn't order any drinks and the bill came to 35£ each.
The food was Not bad, but not the best in the City. Very expensive compared to what you get, a small portion with high Prices. Not worth trying it. However, the restaurant is warm; I like it maybe for coffee and dessert but Not for food. They have a friendly and excellent team. I do not recommend it.
Customer Service-5/5 Atmosphere-5/5 Food-5/5 What an amazing experience! My friends and I went to Baraka last night for dinner. We were shown to our table very quickly and all tables had Christmas Crackers which I thought was such a lovely way to welcome the guests and the festive season. The owner and one of the chefs personally came to say hello to us. The staff took care of us very very well. The portions were perfect size, fresh, flavorful and very very tasty. The cocktails were made to perfection and the sizes were very generous. Thank you Baraka for such an amazing dining experience.
Last minute lunch for 12 colleagues and they found us space. Seating is really comfortable, service was very friendly, a little chaotic but they were extremely busy, really quick. I had the moussaka and I haven't had it for ages. It was tasty and authentic, but a tad greasy, probably due to the lamb mince. Chips sides all cost extra were very good. Also tried the artichoke and had a side of tenderstem. Very convenient place, decent and would go back.
Turkish cuisine in the heart of Liverpool Street. The portion sizes generous and very tasty. Good quality food, and good cocktails. Service very friendly and attentive. Thanks for the staff to looking after us and the manager Ozckan. Absolutely recommended.
