Cute pub. Lots of lovely little cubby holes. We sat in the Winston Churchill area which was interesting.. Overall, great prices, vibe and people. To me that means quality.
Beautiful example of back street terrace style pub. Staff amazing. Food was really good value and well prepared. Good selection of beers and other drinks. Had a fantastic selection of food for vegetarians and your traditional pub meals as well. Highly recommended.

5 stars for value for money. Can't fault the food for what you pay, all homemade and very tasty. Although my son lives in Leek, we are strangers but were made very welcome will definitely look forward to visiting again.
Heard alot about this place, gets insanely busy during meal serving times, make sure you book, we were very lucky, great food and lovely staff
Such a great pub! So many options for food at such a reasonable price as it’s al home-cooked too! Staff are really lovely and attentive. Will definitely come back again and try something new. I would recommend the Stilton, potato and caramelised onion pie.
Amazing home-cooked food, loads of veggie options! Dog friendly, busy, full of friendly locals and lovely staff. A regular told me it is family run, into their third generation! A lot better than any chain. Can't wait to return! Definitely try and book in advance during the week, and no meals in the evening, shame!!!

Excellent service. Excellent beer kept in a traditional cellar at the correct temperature. A friendly welcome too for my dog: Daisy Who is always greeted with much affection. I'm so jealous. Try this pub if you like good ale, good food and all served with a friendly welcome. The owners & staff continue to provide a warm welcome to all customers. They are a credit to the community & their excellent food is always in high demand. Book early for next Xmas as this one is fully booked already. You might get a walk-in service....if you are lucky! Well worth the effort though, so try your luck soon.
If you want some dinner time grub get there early , all the football you need on the evening and 3 different rooms to enjoy
