About

Bloomsbury Farmers' Market Best Lunch spot in the area. CASH POINTS IN MALET STREET

Story

The Bloomsbury Farmers' Market is open every thursday on Torrington Square, right in the heart of London's academic centre. The market caters well for those who live and work in the area, with fresh produce straight from the producer - fresh fruit and veg from farms nearby London, fresh fish from the coast, rare breed meats direct from the farm, free-range eggs, bread from local bakers and much more. I't's also a good place to pick up a bit of lunch, as well as for a grocery shop. CASH POINTS IN MALET STREET. TOILETS IN STUDENT CENTRAL

This Food market is near the university campus , lots of world food stands. I just notice the accessibility is not the best in the square near the church and also is not a lot of bins near the food stands to dispose the garbage. But you wouldn’t eat in the middle of the crowd. Only open on Thursday from 9am to 2pm. All weekdays you could find hot or cold food inside the UCL Campus.
had amazing food from Joli! Would 100% recommend to anyone to eat their food!
Support local and support Bloomsbury Farmers Market! A great array of regular food stalls and vendors every Thursday. This time around the juice spot at the top made an excellent ginger/mint/lemon tea, which along with a delicious venison burger, topped with friend onions and cheese, proved to be the perfect hangover elixir!
Love this place come here every Thursday and Get A burger from Pomodoro E Basilico and some how always taste more amazing then the last time I had it. The owner is amazing very upbeat and plays amazing music. P.S the Pomo Bars are delicious treat as well, if you have room after the burger.
I LOVE MOUSAKA just blowed my mind! The best gayros I ever had in my life!! The owner, grand chef BABIS Greek version of Jason Statham in grandpa edition must have a special recipe that I can't have enough of his gayros, it must be his magic touch! It was like an orgasm inside my mouth! I just wish he had some Greek rustic sausage xoriatiko loukaniko on his menu for the hard-core fans but you can't have everything in this life. The most important is that he is a die hard supporter of the LGBTQIA+ like the old school he is! We love you BABIS and I LOVE MOUSAKA!! Love and kisses!!
Misleading name. This is in no way a "farmer's market" - it's exclusively street food. Nothing wrong with that, but don't come expecting to buy farm fresh produce
Yummy food all around! Thursday is never leftover day when going to work as the farmers market is on! Try the brownies from the ice cream man handmade and delicious!! The handmade past stand is also good with the beetroot and spinach gnocchi. There's a stand with a pork burger that is absolutely delicious. There's also a Greek stand with souvlaki - not the best when compared to greek standards but still nostalgic to speak in greek, check them out! I've also tried the thai which was decent and the steak burger! Have a stroll and then sit at Gordon square park to eat and catch the sun!
The market is nice if you want to eat, but not that great if you want to buy. I went there to buy farmer products to bring home but I was a bit disappointed, they don't have cheese and just couple of stands selling fruit. On the other hand if you want to eat there there is plenty of really great choices. The location is also pretty nice , they have grass and lots of historical building around. They also have bunch of cake/pastry stands that looks delicious.
Great local market. There's two sides to it, one which has fresh produce and the other which is mostly prepared foods. There's great fresh produce all year round from a few stalls, but expect less selection and more of an emphasis on cooked foods in December/January.
Pasta e Basta has a stall here, and I love the pink gnocchi! I had been hunting them down around London and eventually had to return to the original place I tried it before. Do think of a place to eat whatever you ordered, however, it does get cold to eat outdoors in the winter.
