The Bloomsbury Farmers' Market is open every thursday on Torrington Square, right in the heart of London's academic centre. The market caters well for those who live and work in the area, with fresh produce straight from the producer - fresh fruit and veg from farms nearby London, fresh fish from the coast, rare breed meats direct from the farm, free-range eggs, bread from local bakers and much more. Lovely variety of stalls. Great marketing. Recommended
Great local market. There's two sides to it, one which has fresh produce and the other which is mostly prepared foods. There's great fresh produce all year round from a few stalls, but expect less selection and more of an emphasis on cooked foods in December/January.
Pasta e Basta has a stall here, and I love the pink gnocchi! I had been hunting them down around London and eventually had to return to the original place I tried it before. Do think of a place to eat whatever you ordered, however, it does get cold to eat outdoors in the winter.
Freshly cooked food from all corners of the globe at a very reasonable price. I had food for the Greek stall and I have to say it was absolutely delicious, just like being back in Greece! And they do not skimp on portion size either
Lots of different options for all! I went for the beef rib which was absolutely delicious.
Great selection of artisinal and independent food vendors, something for everyone - carnivores, vegans, sweet or savoury - Check out The Parsons Nose for some amazing Pies!
Great selection of food stalls. and even though the heavens opened and we got drenched, it didnt stop us from finding our wedding cake makers here!
A great yummy spot to pop up every Thursday don't miss it. MOUSAKA Greek one my favourite
