Easy to find location close to Bloomfield road stadium a short walk to the sea front. It has a toilet block 40p cubicles are a bit on the small side. No litter fairly clean and plenty of spaces on a Saturday afternoon. Loses 1 star as the pay by phone app took 30 minutes to download to my phone. Wasn't worried about leaving my car there.
Plenty of spaces, but all ticket machines seemed vandalised, the one I and many more found would not take cards. Trying to get off this car park is a nightmare after a match as there is only the one exit for match day cars to get away,cars are coming at you from every angle.
OK. Quite close to the seafront. 14 pound for a 48 hour stay. Not secure though, no cameras, security. But both cars where OK when we returned. Most streets are now resident only. Council cashing in on the tourist trade.
Awful car park. Unless you're going to the football it's a long walk away from anywhere. The meters on the car park as of 12th October 2017 do not take the new £1 coin so you either have to have the correct change because the parking meter won't give you any change or use old £1 coins which in a matter of days will no longer be legal currency mean you can't use them. Blackpool Council offer facility to pay by card, but the card slots on the meters don't all work and you have to phone them between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Phone outside of this time slot and they lock the payment machine in an office so you can't pay by card. Phoning the "car park supervisor" using the number of the signage will put you through to someone who isn't a supervisor he confirmed this to me himself when I called and you are told you have to pay for parking or you run the risk of a parking charge. You then point out that the parking meters are inadequate and you can't pay and you're told to walk 400 yards down the car park to a meter which will take new £1 coins it doesn't, I tried this. When you point out this doesn't work, your "helpful" advisor on the phone will blame local government cuts for not upgrading the parking meters and not being able to pay by card. You'll point out that this doesn't help you at all and he'll hang up on you. I get the impression that this is a bit of a money making scheme. You physically can't pay for parking, so you don't pay as a lot of people I saw on the same car park were doing and then end up with parking charge slapped on your windscreen which you either end up paying or fighting in Court for months, if not years. Honestly, I wouldn't take the chance - just avoid parking here at all costs.
Think it can only be paid for on the phone app but can book in advance. Very convenient for Blackpool FC.
