Really great place to visit. Brilliant to see loads of shops as it was in the olden days. The sweet shop and the bakery was the favourite you can swap today's money with the old coins at the bank. Also enjoyed the rides.
Great fun and done really well. I went both pre and post COVID and whilst unfortunately it has lost some of the things that made it so unique the bank and swapping money for example it is still a really good afternoon out. A lot of fun and amazing what we were able to achieve before technology and mobile phone screens!
Fantastic family day out, lots to see and do for all ages. Well thought out Corona virus protection measures, including one way system. A few of the indoor attractions closed but that doesn't detract from the whole experience. Staff friendly and genuinely pleased to visitors back enjoying the town.
Not my thing really but my partner loves it. Friendly people always willing to share stories. Have to add, there was one member of staff who dealt with a paying customer so horrifically over the car park cost. The customer took it better than I did.
Went a few days before Christmas - okay the snow was fake, but wonderful - skating to entertain the children and a very interesting Day Out was had.
Really good place for families Victorian village interesting proper old shops pub iron works alsorts. People dressed in Victorian clothes . Well worth a look.
