My Mum has settled well as a resident at Blenheim House. The staff are dedicated who genuinely care for the residents. My mum is cared for with dignity and compassion. The facilities are beautiful, spotlessly clean and well maintained. The activity programme is varied, carefully planned and so much fun. Mum always looks forward to her meals which are changed daily. I would highly recommend
I’ve been evaluating this care home for my Mum who has dementia and have been assisted every step of the way by the delightful Chris Guest. He has gone above and beyond to help me work through a complex elder care situation. I toured the facility this week and not only does Chris know every single resident by name but additionally we took frequent breaks form the tour so he could kindly and gently help solve resident problems. That says a great deal about him and the facility philosophy. The care home itself is beautiful both the interior design and the location. What really struck me was the level of effort and engagement that the staff were showing to the residents in terms of activities and care. This is not the case at every care home but it is what happens here and that makes it stand out.
Chris Guest from Blenheim House Care Home gave myself and my mum an in depth tour of the beautiful home and all its facilities. Chris was friendly, professional and informative throughout. He had an obvious passion for his role and this came across through his enthusiastic approach and his genuine care and support for staff and residents alike. He knew all the residents by name as we walked around and we found the home to be a very welcoming and supportive. He was extremely understanding towards myself and my mum at what has been a very difficult time considering my Dad's complex needs and for my mum to have Respite care. Blenheim Care Home, in comparison to others we have visited, is top of its game. With exceptional modern decor and facilities throughout including the variety of dining areas, cinema, hair salon and soon to be sweet shop, ironing and domestic chore room and perfectly manicured gardens and outdoor seating areas I am convinced that my Dad would feel like he was in a hotel. The level of care provided here has been rated 10/10 and I could see evidence of this as i walked around with members of staff spending time with the residents chatting and assisting them where needed. The home is of an exceptionally high standard and i would recommend Blenheim Care Home to anyone who is thinking of having Respite Care or a permanent residency.
We visited Blenheim House a few months ago and were wowed -- by the facilities, staff, and tour given by Chris Guest, the customer relations manager. It was clear from first moment that everything is focused on making sure the residents can thrive -- and that whole team is constantly working to make things even better. We're currently arranging some respite care with Chris and, again, couldn't ask for anything more -- thorough, easy process; comprehensive information; and first-rate communication.
I recently went to view Blenheim with my mum, aunt and cousin as we were looking for some where suitable for my gran to have some respite care/possible residential care. Chris and Kathy gave us a warm welcome for our booked appointment. Chris began by asking what care needs we were looking for, explaining what they offered such as nursing care, dementia care, respite or residential care, along with facilties for residence which includes a hair salon and a cinema room. Chris gave us an indepth tour of the site which is absolutely beautiful. The staff all greeted us with a smile and the residence we met all seem to love the activities and facilities on site. It has a lovely homely feel although appears large from the outside. Definately different to the previous home which it replaced. The garden area was also lovely looking out on fields which had sheep in them. I would be happy for any of my family to reside here if their needs required it as I really felt reassured by the level and quality of care on offer.
I toured Blenheim House along with my husband as we were looking for a home for my father in law. The home is beautiful, the staff are lovely and we have been very impressed. The admissions process was made as simple as possible with Chris Guest to guide us through. He showed us around the home and was able to answer any question we threw at him! He knew the residents by name and was extremely friendly. He helped us ensure the move into Blenheim went smoothly and helped liaise with the hospital. We were also helped by the lovely manager Clare Hodges. She helped ensure there was a place for us when other homes may have just refused. We have felt very welcomed and that is due to all the staff. The gardens are beautiful with plenty of places for residents to enjoy the surroundings and a lovely bar area downstairs. The bedrooms are bright and spacious and nicely decorated. We would definitely recommend Blenheim House!
Blenheim House is the home that you always hope your grown ups will have the chance to stay in. The countryside views, large gardens, up to date beautifully thought out spaces & large bedrooms provide the backdrop to the most wonderful team of people who very clearly enjoy what they do for their guests & residents. From first meeting Chris & Kinga when we looked at Blenheim House, to watching Mum be welcomed in by Ann, Chelsea, Dan, Polly, Charlotte & the team I could relax knowing that Mum was in the BEST hands. There was no doubt for us that the team care & support for mum was going to be exemplary. Mum has taken to her new surroundings in her stride. The phone in Mums room means she can call us to let is know us the fun she is having, Blenheim House is as interactive or quiet as each guest chooses. Being local for all the family we visit daily at any time and this is encouraged by the team. Thank you Blenheim House for making this time in mum & our lives seamless, with care, support and dignity.
I am currently at the start of the journey looking at places for my parents to stay. My mother has more complex needs than my father but I was very impressed about the different care options at Blenheim House. Chris was very welcoming and explained how the care home worked and how it might suit my parents' needs. The overall impression was one of a happy environment with lots going on, people chatting and engaging with each other over coffee or activities. I was very impressed. I am hopeful that my parents will visit and feel the same enthusiasm that I do. Thank you for the really helpful visit.
Blenheim House is a stunning care home. I visited a couple of times and was impressed by the exceptional attention to detail that the team delivered. From my initial welcome through to the fabulous tour given by Chris Guest, Customer Relations Manager. The layout of the home is well thought out and the dementia floor is stunning. The Manager, Clare, is incredible and is so knowledgeable about her residents and the care they receive. Would highly recommend this home
I was given a very comprehensive and informative tour of Blenheim House care home today by Chris Guest .The home has a lovely feeling, amazing facilities and I was impressed as,throughout the tour, Chris greeted every resident by name. I was introduced to the Manager who told me that she was lucky as she had a fantastic staff and that was the thing that made the home special. It feels a happy place and I haven’t looked at many Homes where I immediately felt my Husband could be content.
